North Korean leader Kim Jong-un appeared on a video on Thursday that showed him sitting in a room and giving a speech, but offering few details about the regime's nuclear weapons program or his trip to China, where he met with President Xi Jinping. Photographs from the meeting, which took place during President Xi’s four-day visit to the North, showed Kim, who is believed to be around 34 years old, smiling broadly and shaking hands with the leader.

In doing research on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, I always became fascinated with the man himself as well as his country. North Korea is one of the more secretive countries in the world and Kim Jong-Un is the absolute ruler of North Korea. He is one of the most powerful and intriguing figures in the world today, and in his short time of leadership, he has managed to gain a lot of power.
