Hampton Inn Los Angeles

There are few hotels in Hollywood, and those that are there are established, past their prime properties. A new hotel on the block is Hampton Inn Los Angeles, which opened this summer in the 21600 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard near the Dumbarton Oaks estate. The hotel, which is run by Rocky Marriott, is well positioned for guests in need of a dose of architectural cool.

The staff was very friendly and helpful when we asked them questions about our stay in Hollywood. The front desk staff also offered extra information that was helpful for our travels around the city. The room was very nice and a good size. It is a brand new hotel so all the finishes are beautiful and modern. The complimentary breakfast offered lots of choices. I highly recommend this hotel. After reading the reviews I made a conscious decision to book this hotel as it was close to everything that Hollywood has to offer. Based on some of those reviews I was expecting the hotel to be less than perfect but thought we'd cope with any issues when we got there. It was perfect. All of it. The room was large, airy and so spacious my husband and I weren't tripping over suitcases. The bathroom sparkled and this hotel offer more toiletries than most others. Aside from the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room it was the staff who made this hotel memorable. We were greeted warmly, and each staff member couldn't do enough for us. I mention Erika here, only because this is the only name I remember but she was quite outstanding, as they all were. “Free coffee, tea, hot choco 24/7 Love the furniture/decors Bed was comfortable, room was modern, new and clean. The bathroom was perfect! Breakfast was very good.. wish there was more meat? Love the waffle maker! Really enjoyed my stay.. Would recommend to everyone! ”
