Peach cake recipe

This is a peach cake recipe. It's a traditional American cake. The cake is made from a granulated sugar and all-purpose flour mixture. The cake uses lemon zest and baking powder for extra flavor.

I used 5 med. ripe peeled and sliced peaches for this wonderful recipe. I let it cool for 10 min. before I spooned a special butter sauce over the top.
