Basketball Wives: Miami is the latest new reality spinoff series from the popular Basketball Wives franchise that has already aired on the Bravo network. The series follows Becky and the rest of the wives of Miami Heat players as they build their social media and business brands, just like the NBA wives of old.

Jennifer was promoted to the main cast in season seven, which premiered on May 14, 2018. New cast members included Kristen Scott, wife of former league coach Thomas Scott, CeCe Gutierrez, girlfriend of Byron Scott, and professional athlete Ogom “OG” Chijindu, girlfriend of basketball player Kwame Alexander. All cast members returned for season eight, along with Feby Torres, ex-girlfriend of Lance Stephenson. Tami Roman departed the show halfway through the season, citing other career opportunities. After over a year long hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the show returned for a ninth season, with new cast members Liza Morales, ex-girlfriend of Lamar Odom, Nia Dorsey, ex-girlfriend of Lance Stephenson and her sister Noria Dorsey, wife of Shawn Taggart.

News broke earlier this week that veteran cast member Evelyn Lozada is leaving the series. (If you’re a fan of the VH1 reality show, spend any amount of time on Black Twitter, or read gossip sites, then you know why.) So now Basketball Wives wants that old thing back and has invited Brooke Bailey, Brittish Williams, DJ Duffey, and Angel Brinks to return, according to a source who spoke exclusively with HipHollywood. All four have signed on for season 10 and production is expected to begin soon. There’s also a rumbling that alum Brandi Maxiell, who was cast on the spin-off series Basketball Wives LA and appeared on season 6 of Basketball Wives, will also rejoin the show. Since it debuted in 2010, VH1's "Basketball Wives" (though it doesn't always live up to its title) has followed the lives of the wives, ex-wives, and girlfriends of professional basketball players. Over the course of nine seasons, the current and former partners of several famous basketball players fight, laugh, and go on luxurious escapades with one another. (Source: www.thelist.com)
