Don’t be surprised if five minutes into class beads of sweat drip from your nose as you find yourself out of breath and struggling to keep up—JetSet is not your typical Pilates class. This particular muscle-lengthening exercise is performed on a megaformer machine, which is roughly twice the size of a conventional reformer, and combines cardio, strength training and Pilates for a core-crushing workout. Sessions are kept small and are generally attended by fit women whose lithe bodies seemingly glide on the carriage as they push, pull, lunge and squat in ways traditional Pilates does not allow. JetSet Miami also has studios in Coral Gables, North Miami, Miami Beach and Sunset Harbour. JETSET MIAMI employs a modern pilates method where custom reformers are used to merge strength training, pilates and cardio in a group class setting. The studio creates its own training program and holds training for new instructors every three months. The company has three other studios throughout Miami, in Brickell, South Miami and Miami Beach. Unlike the other locations, the new studio in Sunset Harbour will feature a large group reformer room and three private/duet rooms. After giving birth to her first daughter in London and not finding a fitness method that worked to help her lose weight, Tamara Galinsky found a local studio that used a pilates reformer to conduct toning and cardio classes. That changed her body and fast. When Galinsky moved to Miami she tried every traditional pilates studio but none of them created the same intensity she was looking for. Thus, JETSET MIAMI was born. In 2010 she opened her first modern pilates studio in South of Fifth in Miami Beach. Self-funded, JETSET MIAMI has grown organically in the last decade.

Aryan got her start in fitness after she decided to switch career paths from being a lawyer to running her own business, in 2010 JETSET Miami was born. Rashed stated, “I fell in love with Pilates about seven years ago because of its intensity and fusion of cardio, strength training, balance, flexibility and focus on all elements deriving from the core. I love Pilates because of the constant challenge to elevate and do better.” JETSET Miami offers Pilates inspired movements all in one, where Jetsetters workout on their custom made reformers fusing elements of strength training, cardio, and conditioning. “The Modern Pilates” workout is performed on JETSET’s custom reformers which have a moving carriage, platforms, straps for arms and feet, a bungee chord to target the lower half of the body, and springs that allow you add tension and resistance for each and every move. Jetsetters can choose from a select five different classes that vary from a whole body approach to a more specialized arms, abs, or booty routines. Today, JETSET Miami has eight locations across South Florida in Coral Gables, South Miami, Pinecrest/Palmetto Bay, Brickell, Sunset Harbour, South of Fifth, North Miami, and Wynwood – no matter where you live in Miami, JETSET’s signature intense 50-minute full-body classes are offered daily from 6:30am-7:30pm. All locations offer open level classes for all ages and experience levels with space for 8-15 people. This place is amazing!! The location is the perfectly situated in the heart of South Beach. The view of the water and the pool from the suite is stunning during the day and at night. The suite is very clean. The hosts are very responsive. What you see in the pictures is what you get, if not better. I am definitely planning to book this place again. AR: It’s all about time management, proper prioritization, and staying organized. Being on Sabrina’s board is both an honor and a duty to me.
