Perhaps this is why Miami has become home to not one, but two designer cafés. Dior Café opened in January of 2019 as a pop-up but has been so successful it now has an open-ended run. This past May, the Fendi Caffè opened inside OTL Restaurant. It will last until Tuesday, July 6, as a pop-up. Both are situated in the Miami Design District, one street apart from each other. The café is a small rooftop terrace with lush greenery all around. Various sculptures of animals are scattered throughout the space, outfitted with patio furniture that sports Dior-branded pillows and umbrellas. The centerpiece is a selfie magnet in the form of the brand's name spelled out in large, golden capital letters, with a life-size sculpture of a monkey cheekily perched atop the R. The entirely outdoor space is outfitted with fans to mitigate the Miami heat. Dior Café offers seated table service featuring a select menu of coffee, teas, juices, assorted fruit, and other delightful confections like macarons and fluffy croissants. However, if you ever find yourself at a loss when choosing from so many incredible options, we highly suggest trying out their famous almond lattes and delicious açai bowls! If you live in Miami (or in the surrounding area) or are visiting from out of state, be sure to stop by the Dior Pop-Up Cafe in the Design District, located on the third floor of the boutique’s outdoor terrace. The decor and ambiance are sooo Instagram-worthy! I highly recommend that you make a reservation days before going or you’ll have to be put on a waitlist once you get there (due to limited space and Covid precautions). The wait is usually about an hour and a half, depending on how many people are in front of you. You’ll receive a text, once seating is available and you’ll have 5 minutes to respond back to the message and see the host to avoid removal. The Dior Cafe is located at 162 NE 39th St. Miami, FL 33137. Open Monday-Saturday from 11am – 7pm and Sunday from 12pm – 6pm. Parking is very conveniently located a short distance from the boutique at the Palm Court Garage (140 NE 39th St.Miami, FL 33137) – Parking Rates: 0 to 4 hrs = $3 | 4 to 6 hrs = $6 | 6+ hrs/per day = $25. The nearest valet is Station 5 (located right in front of the Dior Boutique) – Valet Rates: 0 to 4 hrs = $5 | 4 to 6 hrs = $10 | 6+ hrs = $40. There’s of course on-street parking but that ends up being a bit pricey with rates at $4.25 per hour. This area is subjective and will be different for everyone, but this was my experience. Upon entering the cafe, we waited by the entrance for a little, before deciding to snap some shots to pass the time. Eventually, the host from downstairs that we gave our information to, came up and seated us. We got really lucky with a perfect spot directly in front of the “Dior” sign and also it was in the shade! We almost got seated at another table across from where we sat and it was directly in the sun 🥴(see 4th picture from the top for reference).

Fashion lovers in the United States have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of a Dior Cafe stateside. Finally, their wait is over. After launching cafes at their Seoul, St. Tropez, and Paris locations, Dior has decided to host a pop-up cafe at their famous Miami location. If you’ll be heading south soon, the Dior Cafe in Miami is most definitely a place to see and also be seen. Learn more about this limited time fashionable pit stop and Miami restaurant! Upon entering the space, guests will discover a prominent Toile de Jouy theme, recently modernized by Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri for the Cruise 2019 collection with the addition of unexpected animals such as tigers, giraffes and bears. This iconic 18th century French print, which from 1947 adorned the walls of Monsieur Dior’s first boutique at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, is found throughout the space on decorative pillows and printed directly onto the terrace decking. Wild animals from the Toile de Jouy’s pastoral scenes are brought to life as oversized 3D sculptures that “roam” the space and hang from the trees, transporting you into a magical realm throughout the café. If you’re looking to escape Miami’s fast-paced lifestyle, try Café Dior. Perched atop the third floor of the Dior boutique in the Miami Design District, this petite escape is pure perfection. Surrounded by toile-covered sculptures and tropical foliage café goers are treated to a very French-inspired menu, featuring classic coffees like espressos and cappuccinos, with the always iconic Dior logo emblazoned on top. Café Dior also offers more health-conscious choices such as the trendy matcha latte. Pair any of these drinks with the light bites and you have yourself the perfect indulgence. In keeping with this spirit, the new designed café offers a secret lush garden in contract with the minimal Dior Interiors. The new re-designed layout and outdoor experience envision by dooArch, enhances the idea to relate landscape and hardscape as an organic experience, where wrap around benches, landscape lighting and random animals, populate the space to assort a new client experience with their menu of coffee, teas, juices and assorted fruits and pastries. Priced at $25, the “Dior Café Miami” is a frozen coffee beverage served in a margarita glass, topped with the Christian Dior logo in cocoa powder and adorned with a mini green tropical umbrella. The drink was delicious, but $25 is a tad steep for a beverage without even the kiss of alcohol to deaden the pain.
