Almost a decade after her father, television personality Steve Irwin, died, Bindi Irwin is the winner of Dancing With the Stars season 21. Her partner, Derek Hough, was a huge draw for viewers, and Bindi's flawless dancing earned her the Mirrorball trophy.

She won the competition with Derek Hough, beating out the U.S. Army Ranger Alek Skarlatos, and the singer Nick Carter. Her performance earned her additional pay for her advances. She's also set to become a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, with her brother Robert Irwin.

Bindi Irwin was born on July 24th, 1998. She is the daughter of television personality Steve Irwin and the granddaughter of Bob Irwin. She is also a conservationist and works with wildlife at the Australian Zoo. Her first television show, Bindi: The Jungle Girl, aired in 2005. She was nominated for an Emmy award in 2008.

In 2013, Bindi launched her own television show, Bindi's Bootcamp. She also co-created the Bindi Wildlife Adventures books and clothing line.

Robert Irwin, Bindi's brother, is a conservationist, wildlife photographer, and zookeeper. He has an enthusiastic fan following. He also works at the Australia Zoo. He enjoys teaching Grace about animals. He also teaches her life skills. He has expressed interest in competing on Dancing With the Stars in the future.

Bindi has won several awards for her work with animals, including the Australian Geographic Society's Young Conservationist of the Year. She also received an Emmy award in 2008.

She and Derek Hough defeated Sharna Burgess and Nick Carter in the finals, and Bindi and Derek stood next to each other as the winners.
