T.J. Watt, the outside linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was born on July 18, 1991. He played college football at the University of Wisconsin and was selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He is the youngest member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the third overall pick. His older brothers, Jalen and James, also play for the NFL. Despite his young age, he is already an impressive outside linebacker.
After missing three games, Watt is one of the few players to win the Defensive Player of the Year award. He has three more votes to beat out Aaron Donald, who won the award in 2008. In the last four years, T.J. Watt has surpassed his brother in the sack race, and his impressive season is a good reason to look forward to the future. T.J. Watt is already in line to break his big brother's record, so he deserves the award.
The 61-inch box jump he performed against the Browns in the Super Bowl has made him one of the most highly-rated players in NFL history. Despite the high expectations, Watt has remained committed to his team and the Packers. The quarterback scouts are very happy with his play, and he is a great example of how a defensive player can make an impact. However, he has yet to win a Super Bowl in his career. The NFL draft should be interesting for fans of both of these players.
