I was looking at my resume and I was thinking that I need something else even though it's still pretty good. I didn't see anything and I don't know what job I could do that could put me in the job market to grow. I was thinking if I could do something like work with tables and some type of language other than english. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do?

Database

SQL or Structured Query Language is a popularly used language to communicate with the databases. It has commands through which we can easily select data from the database, insert or update into the database and run multiple queries all at once. We can create an entire SQL schema through SQL like creating tables, creating the relationships between tables through key constraints, modifying table structure, delete data or table, etc.

To create an online phone shop, we need to store some data and then retrieve it when the user clicks on details. In this project, we will first add and then retrieve the data. This will be two calls to the database. The first page will show all the phones (names) and a link ‘more details,’ and once the user clicks on the link, all the phone details will be shown. This project will not show the UI part but will write corresponding queries to get the correct data. Let’s first create the table and store some data. (Source: hackr.io)

SQL programmers play a vital role in designing and maintaining databases. They are involved in a wide number of duties such as designing database for the product according to client requirements as well as developing, executing and testing code to ensure it delivers the expected output. Moreover, these programmers are also involved in debugging and troubleshooting to identify, and remove errors. If you have a fascination in dealing with extensive datasets and a liking for writing complicated query statements, this could be a perfect career. To get an entry-level position, a bachelor's degree in computers, MIS or information technology is prerequisite.

As a prior experience is usually expected, using keywords which are related to the position such as developing queries, maintaining database integrity, troubleshooting and merging datasets can prove to be helpful in clearing the ATS round. A SQL programmer resume that highlights professional certifications is bound to stand out from the competitors, and would definitely get more attention from the recruiter.
