For the murders of three women, Marsha McDonnell, Marsha Dowler and Amelie Delarange, Levi Bellfield, an English serial killer, has been sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison. On February 25, 2008 Bellfield was found guilty of all three crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment. Bellfield was also found guilty of the attempted murder of Milly Dowler. He was sentenced to death. However, he continues carry the guilt of sex crime.

Bellfield is currently serving a life-long sentence for the murder of Judith Gold. He was also found guilty of abducting and killing Milly Dodler. He was implicated in a plethora of other murders, including the Russell family's two children. The legal team for Levi's defense said that Bellfield admitted to a fellow inmate with details that only a murderer would be aware of. This is not true. It's not clear if his confession was authentic in spite of his conviction.

Although Levi Bellfield was sentenced to nine life in prison, he never charged with the murders of his victims. His first victim was a woman named Milly Dowler who was reported missing from a Walton-on-Thames railway station in 2002. Six months later, her body was been discovered in Yateley Woods. It was never solved until the year when the police finally gathered all the evidence and found Bellfield of the crime.

Former police officer Bob Sutton admitted that he missed numerous opportunities to capture Bellfield in the past. Sutton claimed that he was "very clever" but was not educated. He was resourceful but had no social skills. He had a long-term love affair with Anna-Maria Rennie. Both of them were murdered in Richmond. After her death, Milly Dowler's body was found in Hampshire in September 2003. Marsha McDonnell was killed in Hampton in June 2004.

A BBC report stated that Bellfield was convicted for the murder of Milly Dowler after the trial. It was later revealed Bellfield was not the one responsible for the death of her student but he admitted to abducting her. He was a frequent suspect of lying and was found guilty of three murder charges. Channel 5 will show a documentary on the case. The documentary will highlight what he did to the victims.

Bellfield was detained by the police after he was found in his cell. Bellfield was later charged with the murder of Milly Dowler as well as the attempted murder of Kate Sheedy. He was later remanded in custody for the murder of Amelie, but he failed to attend the sentencing hearing. The inquest was delayed by the London Evening Standard in 2011. Bellfield was also implicated in the Judith Gold murder case.

In 2006, he was arrested with the murders of Kate Sheedy & Amelie Delarange. In February 2008 the jury found him guilty of both of these crimes. He was also found guilty of false imprisonment as well as the murder of Milly Dowler. He was sentenced for life for his crimes. In 2012, a jury found him guilty of all three charges. In November 2013, he was sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted of all three murders.
