Las Vegas to Miami:

What are the best flights in April?

Airlines

Cons: "I’ve been in uncomfortable seats before on other airlines. However I’ve never been in seats that didn’t recline at least a small degree. When they say Budget airline, they mean it. The plane literally felt like it was going to fall apart on takeoff and landing. Rattling from multiple Compartments and the worst whining of the engine I’ve ever heard. It was a bit unsettling as well as unnecessary. If the mechanics can’t quiet things down and tighten the compartments to stop things from making that much racket then Spirit needs to take the plane out of commission. Not a smooth quiet flight for sure. It would be hard to recommend Spirit airlines to anyone.Cons: "I decided to give this airline a try due to an inexpensive return flight option from LAS to LAX but had nothing but a terrible experience. First, I had to pay for my carry-on which costed more than I expected. Then, my boarding pass didn't print. By the time I made it all the way back downstairs to the check-in desk I was told I missed my flight by a rude ticket desk lady. Departure wasn't for 30 more minutes! I was furious and asked for at least a refund on the carry-on I had purchased an hour before and had a receipt with the time stamped. Spirit Airlines "manager" denied my request. I was beyond frustrated when they told me the next available flight was in two days! I ended up buying a ticket with a much more reliable airline and refuse to do business with Spirit again. I never received a "Time to Check-In" email from Spirit prior to my departure date which would have saved a lot of time and wasted money. What a shame."

Cons: "The worst flight and worst airlines. Since i had a wheelchair, they had moved me to front seat so its easier yo get on n closer to bathroom. What shocked me is that the caorain comes out they block that whole area. I understand its for saftey and its fine if its just for 5 or 10 min for dem to use restroom and stuff. But they come out and start a casual conversation with the flight attendants. So i had to use the bathroom n told them i cant walj all the way end of plane. They very rudely said too bad i just have to wait. I waited for 20 mins n den couldn't. I struggled to walk all the way to back of plane and to back to my seat. I was in nassive pain after that. I asked for water since i wasnt feeling well and she saud she cany give me free water i must purchase it. I begged for a little bit of water ( couldnt buy since i lost my wallet). This was a flight from hell!" Pros: "My trip once in Las Vegas was great, however my experience flying with Spirit was the worst for my girlfriend and I. We tried to pay our luggage fees from home but weren't able to do so from our mobile phones, they charged us each $55 for one piece of luggage & they only allow you 40 pounds. Then once at the gate & before boarding the plane they told me I had to pay $65 for my small carry on, it fitted perfectly in their sample measurement they have there & still the woman from Spirit told me if you want to get on the plane you need to pay $65 now or you'll lose the flight. Same for coming back. They didn't even allowed us to sit together. So initially the flight was apparently cheap but with all the expensive luggage fees came up to $500 RT from BWI to Vegas. Worst experience ever! I've flown all over & with many airlines & this has been the worst experience ever, I'm never flying with them again & same for my girlfriend." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Travel

Cons: "Airplane is new but chairs are made of plastic and very thin, they don't recline and you have very small space -- very uncomfortable. I flew from Miami to Vegas (5 hours) The plane flew at low altitude the entire way and went right through all storms just to save fuel/money. People were afraid for their lives because the plane was shaking so bad. I travel 1-2 weeks out of each month by plane for work and I am not afraid, I knew it was fine, but others had no idea and were very afraid. I know it is a cheap airline, but the real problem I had with them was they are not honest. Their website says that if you chose your seat online you have to pay, but if you do at check in it is free and they will try to keep your party together as long as there's seats available. Upon arriving at the counter they wanted to charge me to keep me and my fiancée together, otherwise she was at the front of the plane and I was all the way at the back. The plane had extra seats and we got there early to get assigned seats together but even the manager would not help me even after showing their website. He said the computer will make them charge me and there was no way around it. There's always a way around it. At the end of the day, paying for seats, all bags you check in or carry on, foods/drinks in the plane, I paid just as much as flying with a good airline such as Delta. I will never fly with them again, that is for sure."

Pros: "This is the second time I made the mistake of choosing spirit airlines. They are so disorganized and have terrible customer service. We bought two tickets and the boarding pass showed the tickets to be in completely different parts of the plane. When we asked the agent to fix this issue she said she can't do anything about it. When we got to our gate we asked the agent if she could do something about it and when she checked the random seats that were given to us she noticed that those seats were already taken. She was able to give us two seats all the way on the back of the plane. Also our flight is delayed. AND just because the tickets are cheap you end up getting screwed over with luggage fees. Wtf airline charges you $55 for a carry on??? I am so frustrated. I am traveling with my husband and we are newlyweds recently got married this weekend and this is the BS we have to deal with. Awesome. Never ever flying with them again and will NEVER recommend this airline to anyone." (Source: www.kayak.com)
