FutureStarrJax to Miami Flights OR
Recently, Southwest Airlines announced some new development for future routes. They are focusing on nonstop service from Liverpool, U.K. to Miami, Florida. So If you have a visit or flight to Miami on your calendar, this is great news.
Cons: "Plane was delayed on runway for over an hour. When the passenger next to me asked the lead flight attnd about her connecting flight the attnd was extremely rude and of no help. Any ? was answered with "well just look at your united airways app". Then later I asked what gate we were coming in on and her reply was "the capt just said it". I replied saying "sorry I didn't hear it" and again the flight attnd answered "look on your UA app". I don't usually fly UA so I didn't have it. Overall she was short, snarky and rude with ever reasonable question asked. No one was rude to her but her attitude was shocking. I travel quite often and have never seen an antd speak or act this way to passengers. I understand things get stressful, but I def won't be flying UA again if this is the way they allow flight attnds to speak to customers. She way beyond rude and lazy and I hope the girl she was training doesn't pick up those traits either."Pros: "This was my first trip on Frontier in many years, and I've heard a number of complaints as they've become more value oriented. I generally don't travel with the "value" airlines so as to avoid the hassle of paying for all of the add-ons that were once just a part of the flight. In this case, my expectations weren't high, and we chose this flight primarily for the timing out of Denver (i.e. it was not a red-eye flight). We paid for the "perks" bundle ahead of time. We were checking bags, and I'd definitely recommend that route to select one of the roomier seats and to have the carry-on included. Ultimately, the price ended up being slightly less expensive than our other airline options for this trip. I have no complaints about the staff at check-in in Denver or on the flight. Everyone was nice and the entire process went smoothly with the exception of having to put my carry-on many rows behind me in order to find overhead space. (It feels like more a slight because you have to pay for that "privilege" to begin with.) The roomier seats were a good choice. I don't think any seats recline, but they were fairly comfortable. For some, perhaps that's a perk because you don't need to worry about the person in front of you leaning all the way back."
Pros: "The check in staff were rude, we felt like we were rushed. Frontier is a deceitful airline, they didn't tell us that the bags were SO expensive, usually an airline gives you some bag for free, nope! Carry on and checked luggage cost a ton of money. Not to mention you have to pay for seats, which is expensive! If you're travelling with someone and you don't pay for seats and you wait until the end to be assigned then you won't end up sitting beside the person you're travelling with and I must tell you the response I got from them was that they're busy and they have no time to deal with this. Then there is the flight crew, through the flight all I could hear is the flight crew talking about how they are on a waiting list and something about becoming a full attendant and every other word was accompanied by a bad word. I would file for a refund if I thought that would get me anywhere. Sorry Kayak I like you but from now on I'll be going direct to American Airlines. By the way! The CEO of Frontier is the former CEO of spirit...That alone should tell you stay AWAY." Miami attracts thousands of visitors every year for both business and pleasure. Cons: "All members of the staff were rude (baggage, boarding, in flight, corporate on phone reservations). Purchasing tickets was terrible. Frontier's goal is to find anyway to get additional money from you and they stick it to you. In the end, we paid $200 more for this flight than if we had flown Southwest or JetBlue. I understand that budget airlines remove amenities to help control the cost of the flight. However, this experience felt more like buying a used car from a second hand car lot. The staff seemed to delight in finding ways to get more money from you, everything about the experience screamed cheap, and in the end, I paid more in extras than I did for my tickets! Pass this one over if you are looking for a cheap flight."Cons: "I'm sure there's some tiny print somewhere explaining carry-ons are $45 but it should be more obvious when booking - even if you do it through a third party. It soured the rest of what was otherwise perfectly good service. Other passengerss reacted the same way. I was charged and then noticed the family next to me was charged only $40 for checked bags. The looks on their faces for having to pay for both types of bags was priceless. I mentioned the cheaper check-bag fee at the counter and she said, "Oh, but you said it was carry-on". It just felt scammy. Easy-Jet has been a discount airline for ages and they give you all the options up front so you know what you're getting into. They practically charge you for toilet paper but there are no surprises. Add the extra aggravation of LaGuardia's third world style and you end up with a frustrating day for avoidable reasons."
Cons: "I booked tickets with this airline for the first time because prices were significantly cheaper than with other airlines. However, I didn't realize I would have to pay $45 for carry on luggage, pay extra if I did want a seat in the middle, and even pay for soft drank! After factoring in all those things, it would have been a lot cheaper to use a different airline. Plus, it was by far the most uncomfortable airplane I have ever been on. No leg room, small seats that do not recline and have no cushion. Terrible experience!"Cons: "3 of us had checked in online. Dropping off our luggage we were treated as guilty scum by the lady behind the counter. Made to force our carry on bags within a box in front of a line of people behind us, then told we could only carry one bag on, and not purses also. She was critical of our carry-on sizes. Had to pay her EVEN MORE than we had already paid online which included 1 bag + 1 carry-on, made the cost even higher. Plane seats were cheap, flight very bumpy. We will NEVER FLY FRONTIER AGAIN! We had flown Delta to our destiny and we could carry our purses too, and she kept saying this isn't Delta! Humiliating customers doesn't win business. All rules were NOT on their website as if I had known I couldn't carry my purse also, would not have flown with them. Cheap plane interior gave worries of cheap plane crashing. Voice on plane said get out your debit card to pay for water! After home again saw 2 more tickets had been taken out of our bank account, tho' we were totally paid in full. Now have to deal with this!!!!!!!!" (Source: www.kayak.com)
