The franchised Godfather's Pizza opened its doors in 1941 in Little Italy, New York. Godfather's Pizza has since expanded to a global food company with over 8,000 locations in 45 countries and over 1,800 franchised outlets in the United States.
Today was not the first time I have had the same problems, but since it is fresh on my mind, I will use today’s problems as an example. First, I chose the desired pizzas and selected credit card for payment. I submitted and screen message said to wait while order processed. Didn’t go through, so I tried again, this time re-entering my credit card info just in case that was the problem. I let the “Wait” message run for over five minutes before trying another approach. This time, I selected cash payment, submitted and the order went through almost immediately. The app confirmed, said pizza would be ready for carry out in 30 minutes and I was sent an e-mail which said the same and included the order number. My wife and I waited a few minutes before driving about 10 minutes to the store. My wife went in about two minutes after the pizza was to be ready and was told that they did not receive the order. We could have waited another half hour at a very busy travel center, but chose to get our lunch elsewhere. I don’t know if the problem is with the app, Godfather’s Corporate or with the store at Love’s Travel Center, Evergreen, Alabama, but I’m afraid I can’t trust using the app.
The restaurants serve a wide variety of pizzas, breadsticks, chips, cookies, and pastas, and have an extensive salad bar and buffet.
