Coming out of Eagle's Landing Christian School in McDonough, Georgia, Robinson had high expectations placed on him. According to the 247Sports Composite, he was a four-star high school prospect with a 0.8997 overall score. Robinson also received recognition as the No. 29 player in the state of Georgia and the No. 49 overall wide receiver in the nation.

Mississippi State last defeated Georgia in 2010. The Mississippi State Bulldogs won 24-12 over Aaron Murray, Caleb King, and more. The 2010 season was Georgia’s last losing season. Vick Ballard and Chris Relf helped Mississippi State prevail in a contest where they controlled the Georgia offense. The game ended up as one of Dan Mullen’s best wins at Mississippi State. That tells the story for MSU Athletics as a whole, pre-2021. It was one of 3 Power 5 schools without a national title in a team sport. Why? Just look at the past decade. The women’s basketball team blew a late lead and lost a national title on a buzzer-beater 3-pointer in 2018, the football program lost 3 games after earning its first No. 1 ranking in school history and the baseball team was the favorite to beat UCLA in the 2013 College World Series … only to get swept.

Robinson played in eight games for UGA but was not targeted near as much as he could have been. Out of the eight games he played, he only had receptions in two-- in the other six, he was running routes in hopes of being open and seen. Robinson had two receptions for 18 yards and one touchdown during the 2021 season. His season-long was a catch of 12 yards against UAB on Sept. 11-- this also happened to be his lone touchdown catch. Robinson tacked on another reception for six yards against Vanderbilt. (Source: www.si.com)
