The whole October is a have been practice, fundamental, necessary and pretty boring. But the fabric of the program changes over time and it is necessary to practice the fundamentals. These are the foundation of the Georgia Wildcats.

College football fans, we’re ranking the best Georgia Bulldogs running backs of all time. It includes every starting running back throughout Georgia Bulldogs history, including current running backs and past ones. This Georgia football roster has famous All-Americans, Georgia running backs in the NFL, and Bulldogs players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Featuring some of the greatest college running backs of all time, the best Georgia RBs include Nick Chubb and Todd Gurley and former top UGA stars like Sony Michel and Herschel Walker.

After the Bulldogs fell short of expectations the last three seasons, don't be surprised if Georgia football looks a little different in 2021. The Bulldogs have been really good since Kirby Smart arrived in Athens. They've been relevant, and they've been successful, but they haven't quite lived up to the preseason hype. In fact, one could argue that the program has been trending downward ever so slightly, with a close SEC championship loss to Alabama in 2018, a blowout loss in the same game to LSU in 2019, and a failure to win the SEC East in 2020. Wide receiver George Pickens suffered a torn ACL in spring drills and will miss most, if not all, of the 2021 season. In years past, that would have been a death knell for the passing game, but the Bulldogs have other proven playmakers. Kearis Jackson had one more receiving yard than Pickens in 2020 in the race for the team lead and was UGA's most dynamic receiver early in the season. Jermaine Burton has talent in spades and may be the most gifted pass-catcher on the roster. UGA also has speedster Arian Smith and a versatile group of tight ends led by the massive Darnell Washington. Additionally, LSU transfer Arik Gilbert committed to the team in early June and should receive snaps right away at receiver.

Throughout its history, spanning more than 120 years, Georgia has seen some of the SEC’s and college football’s all-time greats come through. From SEC record holders to Heisman Trophy winners, the Bulldogs claim one of the most impressive rosters of alumni in the SEC. (Source: www.saturdaydownsouth.com)
