During the autumn months in the mountains of Georgia, the leaves turn orange, red, yellow, and brown. Arkansas produces some of the best lots in the world of apples, which ripen in September. In October, when the weather is just right, stockers head south for the best days for apples and squirrel hunting.

After physically crushing Texas A&M and Texas in previous weeks, the Razorbacks were held underwater by a dominant Georgia front. The Bulldogs posted seven tackles for loss and four sacks against Arkansas, including two tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks from linebacker Nakobe Dean. Georgia has not posted back-to-back shutouts against SEC opponents since 1980 – coincidentally, the year the Bulldogs won their lone national title.

Nine of Georgia's 10 plays on its first drive of the second half, but the Razorbacks forced Bennett to pull down a pass on third-and-short to force a field goal from Jack Podlesny hit a 30-yard field goal to push the lead to 27-0. It's a modest win for an Arkansas defense that was getting gashed on the ground. Will it matter in the end? Probably not. But there are such things as moral victories for a team that is not used to being in the national spotlight. (Source: www.cbssports.com)

Arkansas has gone three-and-out four times in five drives, the Bulldogs scored on their first three drives of the afternoon and the their offensive line is dominating in what looks like a rout between the hedges. Oh, and the Georgia defensive front led by monster nose guard Jordan Davis has allowed just 78 yards by the Razorbacks -- who are 1-for-6 on third down. I'm not sure how Arkansas coach Sam Pittman can adjust to what has been an incredible performance for the home-standing Bulldogs.

•Georgia’s offense leads all of FBS in net yards per play. The Razorback defense has performed admirably in 2021 flying to the ball, efficient tackling and solid defense through the air and ground attacks. The Razorbacks have a no-fly-zone only allowing 144 yards per game passing and four interceptions on the season. The last time Georgia played a quality defense it was Clemson’s in week one where the Bulldog offense looked pedestrian as most do against them.

•ESPN’s College Gameday will be in town to cover the game in Athen’s. Will that impact the atmosphere for Georgia? Will their fans be ready for the game since they start tailgating earlier for this one? Kirby Smart was pleading with his fanbase to show up and show out for Saturday’s game because he knows it will be a slugfest. (Source: www.arkansasfight.com)
