The Sixth Annual National Basketball Association All-Star Weekend Rising Star Challenge was hosted by a player I had been projecting for a few years, but was still unknown to the great majority of people who followed the NBA from his home state in North Carolina.

Future

We are excited to share that Future Stars is partnering with Bryn Athyn College to offer families a great summer camp experience where campers can grow, gain confidence, make friends, and have fun! Sitting on a spacious 130-acres in Bryn Athyn, this campus offers state of the art facilities, well-manicured outdoor field space, and top-notch classroom space. Follow the arrows to see another new location coming in 2020!

We offer daily swimming periods for all programs at most locations. These periods may be recreational or instructional depending on specific program and site. All swimming pools utilized are highly supervised and exceed all safety regulations. All pools are supervised by an aquatics director who employs a lifeguarding staff. Additional Future Stars Summer Camps staff and coaches also help with supervision in locker rooms, on the pool deck, and in the pool. Swim periods are optional for campers and offer an opportunity for campers to cool off and refresh during the camp day. (Source: www.fscamps.com)

Summer

Example: Summer 2022 term enrollees requesting aid assistance must complete the 2021-2022 FAFSA. The Advanced Performers Workshop, or APW, is a more intensive alternative to our regular Summer Stages program. The three-week session, July 11 to July 29, culminates with a performance at the end of the session, not only for family and friends, but the general public as well! APW is only open to students who are already 12 years of age or who will be entering 7th-11th grade in the 2022-2023 school year. Hours: 9-3 p.m. Fee $600 if you register before 4/9/22. $625 after that date. Call 973.989.7092 to set up an audition appointment. (Source: www.randolphnj.org)

Day

All of our camp sites, SUNY Purchase College, The College at Old Westbury, Farmingdale State College, Future Stars Southampton at North Sea Park and St Joseph’s College, Patchogue, are exceptionally suited to meet the diverse requirements of the camp day. Some of the many advantages they provide are abundant field space, pools, studios, spacious cafeteria’s, ample parking, enormous indoor space for inclement weather, state of the art athletic facilities, gymnasiums and classroom space.

This seven week program introduces 9th graders to the creative, innovative world of day camp. C.I.T.s will participate in extensive leadership training and game supervising while receiving supervised "hands-on" experience. The program strives to maintain a balance between work and fun for participants by incorporating four C.I.T. trips into the program. Applicants will be interviewed prior to selection. C.I.T.s who successfully complete the training program will receive first opportunity for any open counselor positions the following year. (Source: www.randolphnj.org)

It's difficult for me to rate FS on one job, because I held so many different jobs while working there. From private tennis instructor to assistant director of a camp with 100+ campers. The owners and staff were always helpful and my main supervisor was the greatest. While my main job was part time, the summer jobs were fill time and all were quite rewarding. A diverse group of kids made for an exciting time, regardless of the venue. (Source: www.indeed.com)

Work

Through our limited enrollment policy, we get to know each camper and recognize their individual needs. Everyone is encouraged to play with confidence, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of the game. Please call for more information and a tour of the beautiful camp sites. We look forward to working with you for many years to come and are certain you will "Hit a Winner This Summer with Future Stars."

We all know what managers do because we’ve all worked under at least one (if not many) over the course of our careers. And, boy, can they impact our lives – both at the office and personally. On one hand, a bad manager can torpedo morale and even drive us to seek a new job. Someone who is good at managing others, on the other hand, will inspire and motivate us. In the same way, managers – good and bad - directly impact our happiness at work (and in life). (Source: jobsearcher.com)
