Registration for tryout camps is now open for the 2019 Future Stars Game (FSG), which is arguably one of the most competitive youth football showcases in America. The games will feature the top athletes from Georgia and Florida, as well as Ohio and Michigan, which always make for an entertaining and exciting event. This summer, there will be the ninth annual Georgia-Florida game (June 12-15) and the third annual Michigan-Ohio game (June 26-29), with games for grades sixth through eighth. The first game was a Florida-Georgia matchup that took place in 2011 in Atlanta, and the event has seen a rising increase in interest and the quality of play.

This selection round for the FSS Main Event at Citi Field is limited to 132-150 players who are divided into teams closely resembling regions across the country. Teams are coached by Future Stars Series National Staff and Current Major League Baseball Club Scouts. The 2022 FSS National Combine will be held at Fenway Park. Players will receive footwear, a jersey, hat, and pants along with a vision and cognitive response test, psych exam, video, and data analysis. Both New Balance Baseball and Marucci Sports will be on hand to allow players to customize their gear should they be selected to the Main Event. There is no cost for participating in this event, but selected players will take part in fundraising efforts for charity through the Future Stars Series Foundation. (Source: futurestarsseries.com)

The Competitive Program provides competitive and educational training sessions based on the world-class European soccer methodology to enhance the natural development of players. The program focuses on developing players’ long-term technical, tactical and cognitive skills, as well as boosting their strength and confidence. Players are immersed in a competitive environment allowing them to drastically improve and take their game to the next level.

The Future Stars Game is a Florida vs Georgia Middle School All-Star Football Classic entering its 5th year in 2015. Players are selected to participate in the Future Stars Game by attending camps all over the states of Florida and Georgia. During those camps the kids are coached and evaluated by our coaches and scouts. Then the coaches and scouts come together and select the best of the best from all the camps to create the Future Stars teams. There is only one way to play in the game, and that is to attend the Future Stars Game Camps. The registration fee for the camp was $40 and each player received a camp shirt. Players were evaluated in football drills as well as participate in a short combine. The combine results are posted on the FSG's website after each camp is complete. The Sandy Creek Youth Football Association had several players to represent the Jr. Patriots this year. If you would like for your child to attend next year, please stay tuned to our site or visit FSG's site at http://www.futurestarsgame.com/wp/. (Source: www.scjrpatriots.com)
