This week, we’re hosting a new addition to our school: Future Stars. Future Stars is a place that kids 12 years old and under can play basketball and participate in sports related activities to help them develop skills, expand knowledge and strengthen their connection to the game of basketball and the world. Now, we have our first Future Star!

Additionally, as a former high school basketball coach in Palm Beach County, I have been able to see first hand the direction the game of basketball is headed. I have noticed that the majority of travel teams, trainers, and coaches are getting away from the fundamentals of basketball. I feel an obligation to teach the game the right way and which led me to establish Perseverance Basketball. With the purpose of reestablishing and instructing the fundamentals of basketball to athletes of all ages and skill levels.

Boca Raton, (May 16, 2017) – Grandview Preparatory School is expanding its passion-based and personalized approach to education once again by establishing a partnership with Boca Raton’s Don Law Golf Academy. Grandview’s flexible schedule allowing for early release, plus its engaging campus community and emphasis on personalized education allows the school to accommodate a well-rounded academic experience while providing student-athletes the training time needed at Don Law’s full time golf program. Beach

The 11th Annual Turkey Shoot Contest will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 8 at Westgate Park and Recreation Center Gymnasium in West Palm Beach. The event will feature a free-throw shooting contest, arts & crafts, turkey sack races, turkey pop, and numerous contests in which participants can compete for prizes. The Palm Beach Bulls Travel Basketball Organization will a happy hour/fundraiser. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 and costs $20 for adults and $10 for children. The event will be held on Nov. 20 at The White Elephant in Wellington. The organization will be partnering with Feeding South Florida and the cost of admission will be reduced $5 for anyone bringing four to five canned goods and/or non perishable goods.
