Looking for a basketball camp for your child? Our Summer Camp is available for just $19. 99. The camp is hosted at the famed Future Stars Basketball Club and includes a basketball, t-shirt, and a basketball bag label.
Currently Jordan is Head Tennis Coach at Purchase College where he was named 2019 Conference Co-Coach of the Year. Additionally, he is President of Briarcliff Youth Soccer Club and coaches youth soccer, basketball, and baseball. Jordan met his wife Julie at Future Stars many years ago. Now their children, Emily and Eli, join Jordan at camp each summer soaking up all that the camp has to offer.
Located in the Heart of Westchester, Future Stars Summer Camps at SUNY Purchase offers a variety of 21 different sports and specialty camp programs. With flexible weekly scheduling campers can mix and match for the complete camp experience. Take your training to the next level or develop new skills with our experienced staff of expert coaches, trainers and teachers matched perfectly to each program. Camp runs Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm from June 18th to August 24th, 2018. Each program spends at least an hour a day getting out of the heat and enjoying the SUNY Purchase pool with recreational swim (*specific programs may offer instructional swim). During the past 42 years literally, thousands of local young kids have taken part in Lake Norcentra Basketball Camp. Coach Garth Pleasant’s camp is known for more than teaching basketball fundamentals. Coach Pleasant’s emphasis on attitude, respect and giving your best effort not only on the court but in the classroom and at home have benefited many young people and parents. You will not want to miss Coach’s final talk on Friday afternoon.
Please be advised that the dorms and all other camp areas will be supervised by camp staff, coaches, and chaperones. Any campers that do exemplify an inappropriate level of behaviour (monitored by camp staff) will be sent home. Examples of unacceptable behaviour would be fighting, stealing, destruction of property, vandalism, harassing other campers or students on campus, leaving campus without permission, among others.
