A fake resume example is a document that is designed to make someone believe it is genuine. One that was created to get a job or other type of promotion. There are a lot of tip-offs that make this document seem suspicious, like outdated contact information and a fake name.

When you look at resume examples that catch your eye, you will notice that they don’t often include hobbies, extracurricular interests, or objectives. For some professions, it’s okay and even necessary to include a photo, such as an actor’s resume, however, including a photo of yourself for a position such as magazine editor or marketing manager will deteriorate your credibility with the hiring team. You will also notice that great looking resume examples do not include exclamation points and smiley faces. These marks are reserved for casual writing and do not convey professionalism. Save your smiling face for the interview. If your resume looks great and the hiring manager would like to follow up with you, be sure your personal email address is a grown-up one. If your email is funstar17OMG@email.com, consider opening a new email account that is intended for business use.

If you want a specific job, it is a good idea to write a resume just for that company alone; this would be your tailored-for-task resume. If you are looking to get a specific job that may lead to a career, then having a one-page or two-page CV is not going to be enough. You are going to need to go into detail about yourself and why you want the job. In such a circumstance, it is a good idea to create a tailored-for-task resume so that you stand a better chance of getting the job. This is where you tailor your CV so that it directly addresses the job you want. In the CV, you explain how your experience will help you be more successful in the job you want and with the company you want (mentioning the company by name).
