(1) Pretend you are the recruiter looking at the resumes and making the hiring decision. The number one thing you need to do is to be in the proper mindset. Do not extensively list your entire work history and life history – no one wants or even care to see all of that! List what is relevant to this unique employer. Think to yourself, how should I write this resume so it will be attractive to this specific recruiter on the other end?

Since you don't have work experience your resume is kind of like a biography of the kind of person you are, everything on it should show that you would make a good employee because you are hardworking, friendly, blah blah. I wouldn't over think it too much because in my experience the resume just gets you the interview, nothing more. It's really about the interview where they decide what kind of person you are and if they want to hire you. Don't be afraid of rejection, I had maybe 6 interviews before I got my first job. Take all the interviews you can get because it's excellent practice, you can always decline a job offer.

This is a bit different to scan quickly. The two columns can be a difficult format to use. I prefer a more traditional look. You have inconsistency with using dashes for some job responsibilities and writing in paragraph form for others. Use dashes or bullet points (pick one). Don't use a date range for school. Just say the year you graduated (or are expected to graduate). Skills sections are generally preserved for hard skills (like computer skills). Why don't you include MS Excel and Photoshop there and remove public speaking, time management, and adaptability? Technically, languages are a skill, too, so you could have a subheading under skills ("Languages") and list your language skills. Personally I don't think a hobbies section adds much, although it can be a personal preference. Also, Spain might have different norms that I am unfamiliar with. Don't say "...so far" after Dean's List. (Source: www.reddit.com)
