Cinnaholic is an independent bakery that started in 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The bakers came up with a "pizza-shaped cinnamon bun" which led to the idea of Cinnaholic.

“Our franchise model has proven successful time and time again. Amid the pandemic, our existing franchisees were able to continue operations without temporarily closing their doors,” says Spencer Reid, president of Cinnaholic. “We’ve closed an extremely successful year in terms of franchise sales and are excited to continue the momentum as we look to excel growth in 2021.”

Based in Atlanta, Cinnaholic is the only gourmet bakery that allows customers to completely customize cinnamon rolls with more than 20 frosting flavors and over 20 topping choices. Each Cinnaholic cinnamon roll is 100% plant based and free of dairy, lactose, eggs or cholesterol, allowing guests to enjoy their mouthwatering creations without worrying about certain dietary or allergy restrictions. “Shipping never crossed our minds. We don't want to damage or ruin the quality and integrity of our product and it's just best served fresh and warm day-of, even for catering orders and whatnot,” says Heather Stennis, director of marketing at Cinnaholic. “We just really wanted to focus more on the third-party delivery, or the online efforts of letting guests order themselves and schedule their own safe pickup.” (Source: www.qsrmagazine.com)

When Cinnaholic founders Shannon and Florian Radke pitched their vegan cinnamon roll concept on ABC’s reality series “Shark Tank,” they wowed investor Robert Herjavec. He offered the two a deal—$200,000 in exchange for 40 percent equity. Both parties agreed, but with one caveat: Cinnaholic would use the investment in pursuit of growth toward nationwide shipping.
