The Bellflower is typically a flower that’s white in full-bloom, with a large double or triple form. It turns into a flower with a single blossom at some point in the plant’s life. Bellflower follows two friends as they venture out into the world to begin their adult lives. Literally all their free time is spent building flame-throwers and weapons of mass destruction in hopes that a global apocalypse will occur and clear the runway for their imaginary gang "Mother Medusa". While waiting for the world to end, their call to excitement comes unexpectedly when one of them meets a charismatic young woman and falls hard in love. The acting is generally interesting and when it goes into wild territory near the end it certainly makes an impression - I sometimes get "YOU DID THIS TO ME!" in my head at random times due to how forceful this guy delivers it. I don't know if it all works, but it looks and feels like few other films released in 2011 or any other year really. It's like a buckshot from the heart and solar plexus of a guy raised on a lot of Mad Max and mumblecore movies. Woodrow finds Aiden has completed the flamethrower, and they successfully test it out. Aiden is impressed with the motorcycle, which is the second part of their three pronged plan to create a Medusa Gang which will reign over their imagined vision of an apocalyptic future, and now they only lack a flame blowing muscle car. Tensions between friends rise, when Woodrow and Milly spend more time together than they do with their best friends. Oud has more than 3000 years of history, and its use began in China, Japan, India and the Middle East. At that time, only kings, emperors and the wealthy could... (Source: parfumplusmag.com)
