Industria 4.0 Resumo

The evolution of new management systems in organizations and their introduction in the production processes is transforming the traditional industry, taking it to a new level of organizational development. The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the advent of Industry 4.0, characterized by connectivity, digitalization and high productivity technologies, embody a paradigm shift in which quality management may undergo irreversible changes and possibly need to adapt to meet the new expectations and demands of the an increasingly integrated and competitive market, in which managing large volumes with high complexity will become a common activity. Concerned with this management, the present study addresses one of the aspects of the adequacy of quality management to the new reality, through a qualitative and quantitative research among representatives of the academic environment and industry professionals, on the use and importance of quality tools in the industry. 4.0. The tools that would be most used in industry 4.0 were evaluated, and if there are differences of opinion regarding quality specialists and the general public (academics and industry professionals). It is concluded that there is still much to discuss and improve on the application of quality tools in the vast world 4.0 in the search for greater efficiency and effectiveness of production processes.

Também chamada de quarta revolução industrial, a indústria 4.0 é um conceito nascido no ano de 2012 na Alemanha, que se originou de um projeto do governo do país que, assegurando que a tecnologia era um excelente alicerce para a mudança e evolução necessárias na indústria de todo o mundo, definiu sistemas de produção inteligentes, conectando máquinas, sistemas e ativos. A indústria 4.0 permite coletar e analisar dados entre máquinas, criando processos mais rápidos, mais flexíveis e mais eficientes para produzir produtos de maior qualidade a custos reduzidos. Esta realidade só se torna possível devido aos crescentes avanços tecnológicos da área da tecnologia da informação e engenharia.

A internet das coisas (em inglês, IoT – Internet of Things) consiste na conexão entre rede de objetos físicos, ambientes, veículos e máquinas por meio de dispositivos eletrônicos embarcados permitindo a coleta e troca de informações. Na indústria de produtos e serviços, a IoT representa diversas tecnologias que anteriormente não estavam conectadas e que agora estão interligadas por meio de uma rede baseada em IP (internet protocol). Isto é um dos alicerces do crescimento digital. Aplicada à indústria 4.0, este conceito espera que um maior número de dispositivos sejam acrescentados e conectados por intermédio de padrões tecnológicos, permitindo que dispositivos de campo se comuniquem e interagem com os outros como controladores mais centralizados. Currently, new technologies developed under the concept of Industry 4.0 have been incorporated. The use of these resources is a fundamental factor for the optimization of company processes. These technologies have evolved in different aspects, such as 3D printing, reverse engineering, big data, and artificial intelligence, which generates a huge impact of transformation in the manufacturing industry and services. They also facilitate consumer analysis, offering new business alternatives and giving companies the ability to adapt to market changes.

This transformation has been directly supported in the development and use of technologies such as Big Data, with the ability to collect, store, and analyse large amounts of data; or the simulation of virtual industrial plant models with specialized engineering that allow management and control, as well as ensuring the quality of processes and products. Other technologies such as 3D printing, internet of things, cloud computing, wireless payment modes or recent advances in artificial intelligence, make the industry 4.0 have an increasingly greater penetration in organizations. The use of these technologies makes the flow of information between the production line, the level of business management and the management of the supply chain be more transparent and organized, reducing labour costs and providing a better working environment (Source:www.scielo.org.co)
