A new leaf was turned in Orange County, based on the advice of the county judge. With the help of new electronic recording and identification systems, the Orange County Clerk of Court has been able to streamline their services and increase the efficiency of their processes.
An OC Pay # is assigned to every case. It serves as a unique identifier to allow access to the Court's automated phone system and web transaction system. Santa Ana, CA – The Orange County Superior Court will celebrate Juror Appreciation Week, May 10–14, to recognize the service and participation of jurors from our community. Many services are offered online, however residents can visit the Clerk of Courts to pay traffic and criminal fines, initiate or contest a civil case, pursue probate issues and make child support payments. The Clerk also assists customers file domestic violence injunctions and seek help for loved ones with mental health or substance abuse issues. Additionally, the Clerk of Courts accepts passport applications, issue marriage licenses and even performs wedding ceremonies.
–The Orange County Superior Court implemented an online check-in pilot program starting June 7, 2021 to facilitate the use of Zoom for hearings, including law and motion calendars, at zero cost to the public.
