Cons: "Extended wait times in taxi departing and landing - took over an hour longer than expected. LaGuardia airport forced passengers to take their car services by walking outside and waiting in a parking garage with (12 degree Fahrenheit feels like -4 and 20 mph winds). Felt frostbite, couldn’t move fingers, and have a sinus headache. absolutely appalling this is NY and USA - yet we can’t have car services pick up pasengers outside the door of the airport, instead require to walk 7 minutes and stand in a freezing air tunnel airport garage. Changes my mind on flying to LAGUARDIA in the future" Cons: "I checked in in Miami airport 12 hs before leaving. I was told by the fake friendly attendsnt that our seats , my husband’s snd mine, were separated. When asked to see if wevcould bd placed together she sarcastically commented that we had bought our flight through expedia and if we had dome it directky with AA we might have been together. Shame on her comment! AA offers their flights to many companies snd I now wonder if her comment is true, which makes me consider next time I choose an airline. In Buenos Aires when We checked in something similar happened and we could not book our seats the day before bcause they were all taken . The answer was if we wanted a better seat we’d have to pay because only back seats are available in economy and AA waits forbthose whi pay first and only then they”ll give us a seat. I”ve travelled several times with AA and feel the service is not worth the money I pay for it. The food on our flight back to BA was not good st all. However , I have to point out that all my flights BA to N Y, N Y to Mia and Mia BA left on time. On the whole it was good but I believe AA cares onñy about money and I feel disappointed"

Cons: "I used to fly USAir all the time. The service was excellent. Following the merger, not so much anymore. The seat was very cramped. So much so that I had trouble walking when I got off the plane, and I'm in pretty good shape. I used to get upgraded often with USAir. Now that I have 3 times the mileage built up, it never happens. This wasn't the worst American flight , however. I recently had the displeasure of flying on one of the new planes, and that seat was so upright, cramped, and hard, it was like being on Spirit! (And I refuse to get on their planes ever again) my entire body was sore and stiff after flying on the new AA jet." Pros: "Our flight was cancelled. We were given a 1-800 number to call to rebook. The guy was in India, slow computer, kept putting me on hold. 2 hours later, no rebooking, no resolution and I was postal. I missed the funeral of my relative, so did my kids. Horrible service, I will never fly Frontier again. What a nightmare. I kept asking for a manager or supervisor and was told there was no one." (Source: www.kayak.com)

Return

Cons: "Three of us boarded at DIA in Denver on Feb 25 on Frontier Airlines for a flight to New Orleans. We each had one piece of carry on luggage that we placed in the compartment above the seats. There was not additional charge for the carry on. We paid only the cost of our airline ticket. HOWEVER on our return flight Feb 28, we told at the New Orleans Frontier desk there would be an extra charge for the exact carry on luggage we had checked in at Denver fours days before. The extra charge was $40.00 for checking or $45.00 if we carried on our luggage. We explained there was no charge for our carry on's in Denver. That didn't help. SO what choice did we have? We didn't make a scene or issue about this extra charge. We merely paid the extra charge and grumbled on the flight home. You can probably guess about our change in attitude -- from a pleasant flight experience to New Orleans to maybe our next flight will not be on Frontier rather another carrier." Cons: "CANCELLED. NO Assistance with rebook. Refund and you are on your own. Found out later they were have a pilot strike. They didn't disclose that and should have, in my opinion. I had the same exact thing happen on my return flight. Cancelled. No assistance with rebook. Had they been honest and straight forward I could have made proper accomdations for my return flight home. Instead a got the screw job TWICE. I understand that it is not in their control of the pilot strike. But good service would disclose that information as to not cause additional problems. Spirit sucks. Everyone knows that. But they don't have to screw people over and more then already do"

Cons: "Where to start... I understand the concept of a base fee and you pay a la carte for everything else but this only really works for a single person traveling with a small personal item ONLY. You are literally charged for EVERYTHING. Which is mostly stated on their website with the exception of the checked bag and carry on fees of $50 and $55, respectively. Those fees can vary depending on who you ask....And even though they say you can save by using the kiosk ($20 to go to the counter), we ended up going to the counter anyway because the kiosk could not complete our transaction!!! On our return, we had to go through customs which requires you to get your checked bag (decided to save the $5 and check it on the way home), go through customs and then drop off your checked bag to continue your flight. Well, the Spirit representative decided it would be a great time to take a break and be completely MIA from their post. We had to go completely out of the terminal and back to a counter to recheck our bag. Resulting in a very close call on not making our connecting flight. The long and short of it all: We "Saved" $100.00 total on the initial ticket purchase. We paid over $220.00 ADDITIONAL to have our one carry on and sit next to each other ($20.00 each seat, each leg of trip). Never flying Spirit again and have been telling everyone not to. Bad Spirit!"Cons: "Everything. Not only was the flight's departure delayed by two hours, but once we were finally able to board the flight, the a/c wasn't working. After taxiing aimlessly for 45 minutes in the Dallas summer sun with no air conditioning, the pilot announced we would have to return to the gate so that "the engine could be started". Fortunately, at this time, the air conditioning was also repaired. After an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes of repairs, taxiing and waiting, we finally departed after a total delay of 3 hours. Upon landing in New Orleans, we were forced to wait for an additional hour while we waited for our gate to clear. All in all, we arrived 4 hours after our initial arrival time, and spent 3 hours on a plane for a 1 hour and 8 minute flight." (Source: www.kayak.com)
