Future Stars is a basketball team for children with Down syndrome and other special needs children. This is the first year they have been funded by recruiting children through a local basketball program called 6th Street Basketball.


The Connecticut Elite Basketball Program is the TOP RATED AAU BASKETBALL ORGANIZATION in CT. Elite is the most historic basketball organization in CT with almost 20 years of history. Elite has an endless list of alumni high school coaches, college players, and professional players. Elite is a very unique program unlike any other program because not only does Elite provide exposure/college recruitment through tournaments, camps, and showcases; Elite coaches also develop player's skills on the court and teach the game of basketball to develop the player's basketball IQ. Connecticut Elite coaches grew up in CT and have been involved in the communities for over 30 years. The Connecticut Elite coaches played basketball at the college level and currently coach high school basketball in CT. Elite coaches have directly helped hundreds of basketball players with opportunities to be student-athletes at the college level. Most of these players still maintain relationships with Elite's President and coaches. Connecticut Elite coaches are looking forward to working with your child this season and in the future!

- Located on 72 idyllic, wooded acres in Durham and licensed by the State of Connecticut, Camp Farnam�s programs and facilities include Olympic-sized in-ground pool, Baseball field, Basketball court, Hiking trails, Pavilion for science experiments, arts and crafts and rainy-day activities, Picnic area, Kitchen and dining facilities. Open Monday through Friday during scheduled sessions and designed to provide children with a complete summer day camp experience, activities include Red Cross swimming instruction, team-building activities, nature studies, organized sports, field events, nutrition education, cook-outs and more! The program emphasizes the group experience and encourages an appreciation for nature and the environment.Applicants are considered without regard to race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, mental disability, national origin, age, physical disability, or ability to pay..
