FutureStarrA Common and Tiffany Haddish
Now a day's woman is celebrated for beauty, dress and being in the spotlight ; but what about woman who does still have to work very hard to earn her living? What about woman who remains sober and responsible to her family and strives to create the best life possible? And what about woman who needs to fight inside and outside to break that social stigma? Tiffany Haddish is one of those woman.
"It really didn't allow for us to spend as much time and put as much energy into our relationship. I don't think the love really dispersed ... we weren't feeding the relationship ... neither one of us is gonna stop. We both care about our crafts and what we do," Common explained. "We care about love too and partnership, but I think the energy that has been put into our careers and continuing to want to do the things that we do for ourselves and for people ... it was hard for me to balance all of that and keep the relationship fed.
“First of all I want to say, Tiffany as you know is, for me, one of the best people I’ve met in life. One of the best hearted and most authentic and caring people I’ve met in life. That’s what made me love her and be in love with her and want to be in a relationship with her and grow with her,” he said. “It was probably the most mature relationship I’ve been in. Meaning the communication, the respect, just all around, even from the standpoint of dealing with the pandemic and being around each other, communicating and knowing how to navigate that. A lot of relationships I’ve been in, I’ve been on the move. Me and that person, we both had professions. I think once Tiffany and I got back on the move, it really didn’t allow for us to spend as much time and put as much energy into our relationship.” (Source: www.essence.com)
Haddish and Common reportedly split last month after dating for more than a year. Sources supposedly close to the exes claimed that busy schedules were the reason behind the breakup. The rapper later confirmed the reports published by People magazine and stated the former couple came to a mutual agreement to go their separate ways. The pair first met on the set of 2019’s “The Kitchen.” (Source:
Common went public with his split from Tiffany Haddish in November — which apparently came as a surprise for the comedic actor. Speaking to FOX SOUL’s Hollywood Unlocked Uncensored with Jason Lee, Haddish said she didn’t find out the veteran MC/actor made the announcement until her publicist informed her they wouldn’t be responding. Common went on to say that there was no third party involved in their split, saying, "that's not where my heart and head is." In the end, it came down to their schedules -- concluding that "it's hard when the other person is working just as much, to actually give time and love and nurture into the relationship."
