Pier 88

Pier 88 is a waterfront restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. It is the only restaurant in America that serves Chef Boyardee's world-famous canned spaghetti and meatballs. The restaurant was known for decades as the "Lollapoll Gazette" for serving spaghetti and meatballs fast.

The causeway of Pier 88, a three-phase port and commercial development project in Liloan, Cebu, has been inaugurated with a dry run set in December 2021 and full operations slated for mid-2023.

Topline Seabus can accommodate 150 passengers, is fuel efficient, and will be manned by only four people. Topline Seabus will serve two routes: Liloan-Mactan route which will dock at Mactan Wharf near Mactan Export Processing Zone, and Liloan-Cebu City route which will dock at Cebu City Pier 3. Pier 88 prides itself on its “Famous Low Country Boil,” and while the restaurant may not be on an actual pier on the Agua Fria, hopefully it won’t take more than the crack of a crab leg to transport your taste buds to the Mississippi. Doing their best to make nights by the Nile River even hotter than the days, Pier 88 has arrived in Cairo and immediately begun making waves. Before we get into the culinary and cocktail delights available though, let’s talk about Pier 88’s style, because it has us nearly as excited. Sleek-and-chic would be the best way to describe Pier 88, as a lavish lounge feel pervades the entire space. Yes, there’s plenty of marble, mirror, and crystalline light fixtures, but its riverside location is taken into account too, in the form of wooden plank floors, lush greenery, and rattan-esque chairs and couches. The terrace is especially romantic, with unobstructed views of the Nile and a front row seat for the fanning breezes that blow off her waters. The fare on offer is on par with the posh atmosphere of the venue (think sizzling steaks and succulent scallops) and the cocktail menu has been crafted with both the classics and contemporary in mind. As the evening evolves into late night, the social scene heats up and the bar becomes the focus of the fun. Here, the drinks are poured with precision and flair by some of the city’s best up-and-coming cocktail makers, and we can’t think of anywhere better in Cairo to sip a sundowner than their gorgeous terrace. Note: Pier 88 is an ‘admission only by reservation’ establishment. (Source:
