Metro Boomin's second full-length album, Heroes & Villains, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 in December 2022 and featured an impressive list of guest artists such as Future, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, A$AP Rocky, Gunna, Chris Brown and Young Thug.

Billboard reports that Metro Boomin has sold a portion of his publishing catalog to Shamrock Capital for close to $70 million, marking the latest music industry deal for the investment firm which also acquired Dr. Dre's assets and Taylor Swift's Big Machine catalog, among others.

Metro has earned 99 total entries on the Hot 100 as a producer, including two No. 1s and 10 Top 10s. He also boasts 46 total entries as an artist - making him one of hip-hop's most prolific creators.

Metro has achieved stardom with chart-topping hits like "Bad and Boujee," Future's "Mask Off," iLoveMakonnen's "Tuesday," Kanye West's "Father Stretch My Hands" and more. His impressive list of collaborators includes Travis Scott, 21, Gunna, Offset, Drake and Young Thug to name a few.

Metro's second full-length solo LP, Heroes & Villains, takes his signature sound beyond its comfort zone and creates an iconic blockbuster album that will last the test of time. He proves that his far-reaching vision hasn't altered since 2018's Not All Heroes Wear Capes; a record where his sparse yet atmospheric beats began to thicken and become more intricate.
