Ying Yang Twins are a Southern hip-hop duo that popularized the party or crunk style of rap in 2003. Their 2005 album USA (United State of Atlanta) served both as an influential political statement and commercial success, garnering critical acclaim.

Ying Yang Twins are East Atlanta natives D-Roc and Kaine. Their music blends hip-hop with dirty south hip-hop, featuring shouted choruses and rowdy lyrics.

Ying Yang Twins – Thug Walkin’

The Ying Yang Twins are two of the most beloved booty-shaking rap duos of all time. Their gritty party songs hit big in the early 2000s, during a time when dirty south crunk was in full swing. Their debut album Thug Walkin' reached #17 on the US R&B/Hip Hop chart and sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.

D-Roc, born DeAngelo Holmes and Kaine (born Eric Jackson), are from Atlanta and formed a duo in 2000. Their first single "Whistle While You Twurk" became an instant hit and was featured in Disney's Snow White movie.

In 2003, they joined forces with Lil Jon and released a number of hits that quickly became the talk of the party scene. Additionally, they collaborated on Britney Spears' 2003 self-titled album.

Their popularity declined with the rise of crunk music, yet they continued to craft raunchy party songs that got people moving. Their 2007 album Chemically Imbalanced featured collaborations with producers Wyclef Jean, Jerry Duplessis and Michael Collipark.

They have also collaborated with Juz tha King, Kat Nu and Demo Dil on tour. Additionally, they released several mixtapes such as Ass in Session and Twurk or Die.

After a lengthy hiatus, the twins have returned with their latest single, Twerkin' in the Mirror. Joining forces with rap superstar Lil Jon, this track sees them return to their iconic style that promises to garner major attention wherever they go.

The Ying Yang Twins are renowned for their crowd-pleasing party songs that keep Atlanta rockin'. Their music has been played on radio stations worldwide and even reached mainstream success through collaborations with Lil Jon.

Their new song "Miley Cyrus" has been hailed as a twerking tribute to the pop singer. It's available on iTunes and has been making waves across social media platforms. According to them, the duo created the tune with one goal in mind - to encourage people to get up and dance!

Ying Yang Twins – Alley... The Return of the Ying Yang Twins

The Ying Yang Twins are one of today's most beloved hip-hop duos. They're renowned for their catchy rap style and party atmosphere, as well as being credited with introducing "crunk" music - a term which describes loud lyrics with raunchy beats.

Their debut album Thug Walkin' was released in 2000 and sold over 100,000 copies, featuring the hit single "Whistle While You Twurk," which made them a household name in Atlanta.

Though their debut was a huge success, the Ying Yang Twins remained relatively unknown until Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz asked them to collaborate on 2002's Kings of Crunk album. Their signature track "Get Low," complete with shout-out loud choruses and dirty beats, proved a major turning point for these East Atlanta rappers.

Disney ultimately took notice of the Ying Yang Twins and issued them with a cease-and-desist letter. Ultimately, Koch International signed on with them in 2002, leading to the release of Alley... The Return of the Ying Yang Twins in 2002.

The Ying Yang Twins followed with their fifth studio album Chemically Imbalanced in 2006, produced by Wyclef Jean and Keith Duplessis with longtime collaborator Michael "Mr. Collipark."

TVT's previous efforts saw them send samplers to strip clubs across America through Concrete Marketing. Fortunately, their songs proved popular and the album reached the Top 10 on Billboard charts.

Since then, the Ying Yang Twins have continued to create and perform numerous hit songs. Furthermore, they have ventured into different genres of music.

In addition to their popular hip-hop tracks, the Ying Yang Twins have also performed music from their classical backgrounds. They've performed at prestigious venues such as New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art and Harlem's Apollo Theater.

The Ying Yang Twins have starred in multiple films and television shows, with their starring roles being particularly successful. Most notably, their roles on Hong Kong films "Summer Breeze of Love" and TV series "Hit The Floor." Throughout their careers, they have toured worldwide - and continue to do so today.

Ying Yang Twins – Twerkin’ in the Mirror

Fourteen years ago, the Ying Yang Twins were making party music that today would be labeled crunk. D-Roc (D'eongelo Holmes) and Kaine (Eric Jackson) epitomized the party rap movement that gained steam with Lil Jon's success in 2003.

Their debut album, Thug Walkin', was released in 2000 and went on to sell over 100,000 copies. Their single, "Whistle While You Twurk," peaked at number 17 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The Ying Yang Twins' style of rap music was inspired by the dirty south hip-hop culture popular in Atlanta at that time. Their songs often addressed social issues such as AIDS and America's prison system.

They were a staple of Atlanta's underground music scene, crafting strip club anthems and frequenting strip clubs. Additionally, they became renowned for their parody of Geico Hump Day commercial which featured them singing over a camel's lips.

The Ying Yang Twins' latest album, Twurk or Die, was released in the summer of 2013. It features their current single, Miley Cyrus, which encourages listeners to "shake, twerk and dance." This summer the Ying Yang Twins are embarking on an extensive US tour including stops at Boomtown American Saloon in Lewiston and Stubblefields in Pullman; for more information visit their website today!
