Joe Cartagena, better known by his stage name 'Fat Joe', is one of the most successful and acclaimed rap artists in history. The Puerto Rican born MC began his career as part of D.I.T.C (Digging In The Crates) crew before working with artists such as Diamond D, Lord Finesse and O.C. In 1993 he released his debut album 'Represent' which reached number one on Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart.

Fat Joe then began working with rapper Big Pun, whom he discovered and signed as his manager. Together they released several albums, becoming successful and breaking into the mainstream hip hop scene.

His third album 'Don Cartagena', released in 1998, featured collaborations with Nas, Diddy, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Terror Squad. It went on to become a major hit and launched Fat Joe's music label Terror Squad.

He followed this up with his fourth album 'Jealous Ones Still Envy', produced by Irv Gotti and featuring a star-studded lineup including Ashanti, Ja Rule and N.O.R.E. The record reached number two on the US R&B charts and became an enormous success within the industry.

Fat Joe's album was an immense success, earning platinum certification and spawning the classic song "What's Luv?" featuring Ashanti and Ja Rule. This track became a worldwide hit that continues to be featured on many radio playlists today, helping him cement his place in hip hop history.

Through his career, he has faced many difficulties and setbacks; yet he has remained resilient and continues to succeed in the music industry. With 13 studio albums under his belt, he can proudly say that he's mentored other great MCs as well.

His career has been heavily shaped by his Latin heritage, making him one of the most admired members in the rap community. Additionally, he has received praise for his charitable work; donating computers to school children in the US.

He has earned multiple Grammy Award nominations, including for Best Rap Album and Best New Artist in 2006. While touring the United States, his fan base grew rapidly. Additionally, he opened up about his struggles with depression and is very open about it. Additionally, he is active within the LGBT community as an advocate for equality.

He is a member of D.I.T.C.

Fat Joe, born in New York City and with a net worth of $4 million, is an American rapper and producer. He began his music career with hip hop group Diggin' In The Crates Crew before branching off on his own; working with many renowned rappers while producing multiple albums.

He released his debut album, Represent, in 1993 and followed it up with Jealous One's Envy (1995) two years later. Additionally, he has collaborated with artists such as LL Cool J, Big Pun and Remy Ma.

Fat Joe's rap style is hardcore and braggadocio-driven, but he also has some good tracks on his albums. His voice is strong and he is highly talented - with an extensive list of hits to prove it! Considered one of the world's greatest rappers, Fat Joe continues to have a major impact.

In 1992, Diamond D joined Diggin' in the Crates crew (D.I.T.C), an eclectic collective of rappers, DJs and producers dedicated to recreating the essence of rap music - featuring members such as Lord Finesse, Showbiz and Fat Joe.

He had the chance to collaborate with many musicians and establish important networking connections that would later aid him in his music career. Furthermore, he founded Terror Squad - his own label.

His debut single "Flow Joe" became an instant classic, topping the charts in 1993 and catapulting him to stardom. Today he's widely considered one of the top rappers in America.

He boasts an impressive list of hits and has collaborated with many renowned musicians. His net worth is estimated to be $4 million dollars; currently living in Miami, Florida where he's married to his long-time partner and mother to three children.

In addition to his rap career, he has also featured in various movies. Additionally, he was arrested for tax cheating.

He is an American rapper born in the Bronx, New York with a net worth of $4million and membership in D.I.T.C. Despite his wealth, he has had to pay back taxes totalling over $3million and was convicted of tax fraud in 2012.

He is a member of Terror Squad

In 1999, Terror Squad led by Bronx-natives Fat Joe and Big Pun was one of the hottest crews in hip-hop. They followed closely behind Jay Z's Roc-A-Fella crew and Ja Rule's Murda INC clique.

Terror Squad may not have been as popular as some of its peers, but they did manage to score some hits. Their debut album The Album (released 1999) was a critical success and featured songs that would become staples of hip-hop history such as "Whatcha Gon' Do," "We Thuggin'," and "Joey" (featuring Armageddon).

Terror Squad members had a colorful history before they came together as one cohesive unit. They were integral parts of the early '90s East Coast hip-hop scene and on their way to becoming major stars until Big Pun's untimely passing in 2000.

In 1998, Terror Squad were invited to perform at a Puerto Rican Day Parade in Bridgeport, Connecticut. There they encountered mobsters and Cuban Link got into a fist fight with local mob boss Frankie Estrada which escalated into an all-out brawl.

After that incident, Terror Squad's core lineup was altered to include Tony Sunshine, Armageddon and Prospect. Their second album True Story was released in 2004, but only became successful after their hit single "Lean Back" featuring Remy Ma broke into Billboard's Hot 100 chart at number five.

Remy Ma was a member of Terror Squad from late 1999 until 2006, when she left the group permanently. She was an acclaimed female MC known for her fast-paced lyrics and snarky attitude.

She had a successful solo career, releasing her debut album There's Something About Remy: Based on a True Story in 2006. After leaving Terror Squad, Remy began feuding with Fat Joe over not being paid for all of her years of service.

Joe has several projects in the works, in addition to Terror Squad. Recently, he signed rapper DJ Premier who previously collaborated on his 1993 debut album; they're also working together on a mixed tape compilation album together.
