Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Green is "strongly pushing" to attend Game 5 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena despite his suspension. That would require him to find a way into Oracle on his own and it's estimated he'll pay around $500 in fines, but sources said Green wants an entry into Oracle regardless.

Green has been an integral part of the Warriors' success over the past decade, yet he also has a history of off-court issues. He's been involved in multiple fights and physical altercations over the years, including one with Memphis Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks last week.

On Sunday, the league upgraded a hit Green delivered to LeBron James' groin during a confrontation to flagrant 2, meaning that he has exceeded his limit for flagrant foul points and been suspended. This hit occurred during their three-minute struggle on the floor as they attempted to set a screen for security.

After their confrontation, both players began to push and try to step over one another. Green was eventually knocked to the ground from being shoved by his opponents.

After a few seconds, the officials called a double foul on Green. With just under three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Green and James became involved once more as they vied for position on a screen.

Suspended for Two Games

Few weeks ago, Green was assessed a technical foul for throwing the ball at Russell Westbrook during a simple scuffle. Despite not being intentional, officials whistled Green for a technical and he ended up sitting out the remainder of the game.

On a game against the Clippers, Green appeared to throw the basketball at Westbrook after scoring a bucket and it appeared as though he were pushing him in the head. Referees assessed Green with a technical foul and the Warriors fell behind 134-126; their loss put them into an early 3-1 deficit in their best-of-seven series against Houston.

In Game 4 of the NBA Finals, James and Green got into an altercation. A replay review showed Green taping James in the groin while trying to make a move on him.
