The UFC Fighters With the Hardest Punches in HistoryMMA fans have become accustomed to seeing fighters escape after one-punch knockouts, but some fighters possess concussive punches that can leave a mark. Dan Henderson sparring partner says Hendo's attacks were some of the hardest ever seen on his side of the cage. Current UFC hard puncher Francis Ngannou made headlines recently by punching an opponent from Jackass into their groin - something only an experienced UFC fighter like Ngannou can pull off with incredible skill. Mark Hunt MMA is known for being full of hard hitters, but Francis Ngannou stands out as an outstanding fighter. A Cameroonian heavyweight who has quickly made an impression in the UFC Heavyweight Division is Francis Ngannou; one fight after another saw him deliver five knockouts with five powerful uppercut finishes to future Hall-of-Famer Alistair Overeem as proof. Ngannou's powerful striking has earned praise from veteran fighters like Randy Couture and Bas Rutten. Additionally, former UFC light-heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic declared Ngannou to be the hardest puncher he had ever come across. Ngannou's power alone doesn't make him an effective fighter in the cage; "The Predator" also possesses superior striking technique that almost never misses its target. Ngannou has won fans over with his lightning-fast combinations and deadly accuracy, not to mention his willingness to go all-out when fighting opponents - in particular against former champion Anthony Johnson, where Ngannou put on an astounding show by landing several powerful punches that sent Johnson reeling backward in shock. Mark Hunt is another powerful striker who has experienced immense success in MMA. Starting as a kickboxer and amassing an impressive record before transitioning to MMA at Pride FC, Hunt quickly showcased his devastating striking abilities and was the highlight of six victories without a loss in that promotion. Hunt is an extremely resilient fighter and has survived some of the harshest beatings in MMA history. In one fight with Estevan Payan, he unleashed a barrage of vicious elbows that left Payan gasping for air while Hunt earned notable victories over Frank Mir, Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva and Derrick Lewis. Max Holloway Max Holloway stands as one of the UFC's premier fighters, boasting an iron chin and having never been knocked down in his career. That feat alone is remarkable, especially considering his abundance of hard punches thrown his way; in fact, Holloway has received more significant head shots than anyone in UFC history yet never suffered serious harm from them. Holloway defeated Calvin Kattar with ease in their latest fight, landing an astounding number of strikes and breaking his own UFC record for most strikes landed in one fight. Holloway opened up his fight by landing a series of long combinations to all parts of Kattar's body, throwing numerous leg kicks, and landing some powerful right hands to Kattar's head. Holloway was relentless throughout, like an actual fighting video game character come to life. Holloway continued his relentless pressure, landing hard right hands to Kattar's head as well as throwing multiple leg kicks which hurt Kattar. Holloway also used leg kicks that injured Kattar. The second round proved much closer. Holloway continued landing hard right hands to Kattar's scalp as well as landing several leg kicks that wounded Kattar further. Volkanovski successfully blocked most of Holloway's attacks, though he managed to land some solid hooks to the head and several straight punches that mostly missed. Holloway entered the third round looking to end it via submission, moving into a clinch position while throwing some hard right hands against Kattar's head. Volkanovski continued his attack, sending more straight punches at Holloway but most missed. He attempted to push Holloway closer to the cage with some hard kicks but Holloway managed to hold his ground. Hendo MMA is known for incorporating mind-boggling techniques that leave audiences breathless, and few stand out as much as hard punches. Though MMA has seen plenty of explosive shots and devastating head kicks, nothing quite tops a knockout with one hard blow from a puncher - which is why we compiled our list of The UFC Fighters With the Hardest Punches Ever Seen in History. Hendo may not have been one of the more technically proficient strikers on this list, but he made up for it with brutal knockout power and impressive brawling abilities. A former Strikeforce champion, Hendo was known for his "Ruthless" punching power; anyone standing across from him inside an octagon feared standing against him; He earned 20 T/KO victories during his career - one notable finish being a vicious left hook that knocked Rory MacDonald out in one round! Francis NGannou is another massive heavyweight on our list, using his massive frame to overwhelm opponents with powerful punches from his massive frame. One of the most prolific finishers in UFC history, he holds the current record for hardest punches ever measured by the UFC; and his devastating uppercut KO of Alistair Overeem in 2017 won him Knockout of the Year honors, showing just how dangerous Francis can be when his fists hit their target. Shane Carwin was another powerful big man who used his natural strength to dominate opponents inside the octagon. Although his career wasn't long, Carwin made an immediate impactful statement during his brief stay with UFC. A former college football and wrestling athlete himself, Carwin demonstrated incredible athleticism throughout his fights while boasting incredible power as demonstrated in his one-punch knockout of Chuck Liddell during his UFC debut. Jackson wasn't known for having the greatest overall MMA career, but during his prime he was one of the sport's most exciting strikers and will remain one of its all-time great strikers. Jackson used his massive size as an advantage in battle and earned legendary status for his violent knockout finishes. Dan Henderson Although mixed martial arts (MMA) boasts an array of breath-taking techniques to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, none is quite as incredible or entertaining to watch than hard punching. A hard knockout is something truly exciting and frightening to witness; fighters who can do it are highly respected for it. Dan Henderson is one of the hardest hitting fighters in MMA history. Hailing from California, Hendo first gained notoriety competing in Pride Middleweight and Welterweight Championships as well as Strikeforce Light-Heavyweight division. Famous for his incredible knockout power he became a fierce foe against opponents of all sizes and styles including Fedor Emelianenko, Wanderlei Silva and Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua. Although Henderson's overall fighting style may have diminished with age, his devastating punching skills remain intact and make him an outstanding presence in both Middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions. Henderson first competed and won a Middleweight Tournament back in 1998 to earn himself a fight with then-UFC Champion Randy Couture. Henderson knocked Couture unconscious with one powerful punch from Henderson that left him injured throughout their encounter. After winning the UFC Middleweight Tournament, Henderson went on to face several top-flight fighters such as Gilbert Yvel, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Renato Sobral and defeated all three with impressive knockout finishes. At UFC 100, Anthony Pettis almost knocked Michael Bisping out in the first round, but managed to finish him in the second. It was one of the most devastating finishes ever witnessed in mixed martial arts history and led Bisping to declare it was one of his hardest ever blows ever received in combat sports history. Shane Carwin had only two professional MMA fights on this list but was known for his massive knockout power. A former collegiate football player and wrestler before entering MMA competition, Carwin is best remembered for his stunning knockout of former champion Fedor Emelianenko at UFC 103. As well as this, Carwin became an established contender in Lightweight division with hard-hitting capabilities that earned him an opportunity at UFC Championship contention.
