The Shocking Outcome: Airris and Jasmine's Final Decision on #MAFS

  After eight weeks on #MAFS, it was Decision Day! Each couple sat with Pastor Cal and Dr. Pepper to reveal whether they wished to remain married or separate their ways. Airris & Jasmine’s Final Decision On the most recent episode of Married at First Sight, couples took part in various activities designed to help them determine whether or not they want to stay married. Some were successful at coming to an agreement while others decided on divorce proceedings - one particular incident of groom gaslighting his wife caused outrage among many #MAFS viewers. Jasmine and Airris were brought together on this season of the show because both desired to establish a family unit. Unfortunately, however, their union wasn't easy - Jasmine's baggage from past relationships as well as Airris' lack of commitment were major roadblocks to marriage. Jasmine shared with the experts at Decision Day that she felt her husband wasn't giving their relationship his all. While he acknowledged working hard lately, Jasmine wasn't satisfied with his efforts - asking him to be more present and put away his phone altogether. After discussing their emotions together, they promised each other they'd try harder in future. Clint and Gina also had a difficult conversation on Decision Day, where Clint expressed understanding for why experts had chosen them, yet was having difficulty finding his place within their marriage. He pointed out that Gina wasn't giving her 100% effort like him and that they had difficulty communicating effectively. Though both couples agreed that ending their marriages wasn't easy for them, experts encouraged them to give it another chance and try harder at improving it. After making these difficult decisions they met up with family and friends for dinner afterwards. 2. Though there have been challenges along the way, they feel they have made great strides towards one another's relationships. While Jasmine remains uncertain if she'll say yes on Decision Day, she feels her marriage is improving so she wants to give it another go. On the first episode of season 16, Airris sent shockwaves through fans when he revealed he had been sleeping with multiple women throughout his life. Though he stated his intention of finding one woman and ending his game of "one woman at a time", his revelation caused chaos among viewers, who are left questioning whether Airris really committed himself to an extreme marriage experiment. As time passed, Airris continued to reassure his wife of his commitment, and that he wasn't falling back into his old habits of dating and unfaithfulness. Yet in a meeting with experts he admitted that Jasmine wasn't quite his cup of tea - they simply did not create an enjoyable "vibe." Although Jasmine had reservations about making such a major commitment so soon after meeting him, experts remained hopeful they would work things out. Although Jasmine initially hesitated about making such a pledge so quickly after only just meeting someone, she ultimately decided to proceed with their plan. Now with only a week remaining in the season, couples attending The Bachelorette season 15 are attending a Couples Retreat in Nashville in order to finalize their decision. Experts predict that Nicole and Chris may stay together, while Gina and Clint may part ways. Jasmine/Airris/Kirsten/Shaquille remain uncertain whether they'll say "yes or no" to their respective husbands. 3. Airris & Jasmine’s Final Interview As #MAFS nears its conclusion, each couple is interviewed by experts before making their decision on whether or not to stay married or divorce. Airris was confronted by experts for being open about his feelings that Jasmine and him aren't an ideal physical match and their marriage had ended prematurely. Airris, a 39-year-old software engineer was chosen to marry Jasmine Secrest, 31, an attractive cheerleading coach and beauty queen for Nashville season of Married at First Sight. However, after a successful wedding they struggled in bed together. Although Airris and Jasmine made late strides towards making progress in their relationship, experts weren't convinced they had enough in common to warrant staying together. Jasmine challenged Airris' lack of attraction toward her by asserting she wants him to fully commit to their marriage. She went on to state that there wasn't a strong physical attraction between them, which is the main reason for why she doesn't wish to stay with him. Additionally, moving out would mean leaving behind their beloved dog who she holds dear. Jasmine met Airris' mother and cousin for lunch, though their family wasn't particularly supportive of his proposal to marry on the spot. Indeed, Fallina made comments like: Are you going to marry some stranger?" to Jasmine during this conversation. Pastor Cal and Dr. Pepper conducted one final interview with each couple where they could reflect on both positive and negative aspects of their experience. Kirsten and Shaquille talked about meeting one another's families while Gina and Clint struggled to find any shared interests or goals for joint endeavor. 4. Airris & Jasmine’s Final Meeting with Dr. Pepper After weeks of drama on Married at First Sight, experts are ready to announce their decision regarding couples on this show - either staying married or parting ways at the end of this episode. But will any couples manage to survive this intense moment? This season of MAFS has been especially challenging and many couples may not last. While the experts have helped several pairs find love on the show, not every couple found its happy ending; last year alone saw Luke Cuccurrollo and Kate Sisk, Keith Dewar and Kristine Killingsworth, Will Guess and Jasmine McGriff end their relationships just days after getting married on MAFS. As the final rounds approach, experts are doing everything they can to maintain marriages. Although close to choosing to remain together, they still require evidence of progress in intimacy before making their final choice. Jasmine believes Airris to be an overall good person who has improved since beginning their experiment, yet she wants assurance he fully supports her goals and is fully committed. She told experts about an incident when Airris told her he preferred women who were thicker than herself which caused severe distress for Jasmine. Airris believes his relationship with Jasmine is steadily getting better and that they're both working toward achieving their dreams together. Yet Airris needs assurances from Jasmine that she will commit herself fully in reaching them out and accomplishing all they want together. At their final meeting with experts, Jasmine is asked to summarize her journey. In doing so, she learned much about herself during this experience, such as what qualities are most important in a partner and her own value system. Though somewhat disappointed that Airris does not share the same enthusiasm for her as she has for him, Jasmine understands it's no one's fault but still takes this journey together.
