The Super Mario Bros Movie Final Trailer

Video gaming fans are in for a treat on the big screen! Nintendo and Illumination Studios have come together to produce an epic live-action Mario movie with an all-star cast.

Mario (Chris Pratt) and Luigi (Charlie Day) from Brooklyn are transported to the Mushroom Kingdom by an unknown pipe. Together with Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), they must join forces in order to defeat Bowser and protect the kingdom from his evil plans.

Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt is one of Hollywood's most beloved actors, having starred in multiple A-list movies and television series. He's best known for his roles as Andy Dwyer on NBC's hit comedy Parks and Recreation and Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy. Additionally, Chris has appeared in Jurassic World, The Passengers with Jennifer Lawrence, and Zero Dark Thirty.

In 2014, Pratt won the CinemaCon Breakthrough Performer of the Year award and was ranked number two on People magazine's annual Sexiest Men Alive list. Additionally, he received a Saturn Award and was nominated for both Critics Choice Movie Award's Best Actor in an Action Film and MTV Movie Award's Best Male Performance.

Since then, he has collaborated on many major film series like Jurassic World and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Additionally, he has had supporting roles in various movies.

He has also voiced several different shows, such as The Adventures of Pete & Pete and The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Golden Egg and Countdown to Christmas. As a natural comedic actor, he has provided voices for various characters in these projects.

Though some criticize his Mario voice, Pratt does a commendable job of recreating the character's vocal style. He even manages to incorporate some classic Mario phrases like "wahoo", although his voice doesn't quite match up to the original Mario in the game.

Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy will voice Princess Peach in the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie, set for release on April 5. Unlike most video game heroines who become damsels in distress, Anya will take an active role in this upcoming film.

Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (Teen Titans Go! and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) will direct this film which was written by Matthew Fogel (Minions: The Rise of Gru and The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part). Starring Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek with Sebastian Maniscalco playing Spike.

Recently, Anya Taylor-Joy revealed that her role as Princess Peach has turned her into an avid gamer. She went on to say how playing the classic Nintendo video game franchise has shaped her perspective of it.

She also shared that she's taken her research for the film very seriously. She's become a huge fan of the franchise and has even started playing some of its games on her phone.

Today, the final trailer for the upcoming animated film has been released. It provides a brief overview of the plotline with more action than previous trailers, featuring dark intros that hint at Bowser's impending threat and more Mario Kart-style racing on Rainbow Road. Additionally, it displays Mario's growing powers along with some side-scrolling action. This latest installment in Mario trailers definitely worth checking out;

Keegan-Michael Key

Nintendo and Illumination Studios have released the final trailer for their upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie, which is based on the video game franchise and stars an impressive cast. The film will hit theaters on April 5th, 2023.

In this animated movie, Brooklyn plumber Mario (Chris Pratt) and his brother Luigi (Charlie Day) are transported down a mysterious pipe and end up in the magical Mushroom Kingdom. With help from Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), who lives there, as well as some training from Princess Peach, Mario discovers that he has the capacity to reach into his own potential.

This marks a monumental step for the series, which hasn't had an animated feature since 1993's iconic live-action adaptation. A star-studded cast including Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jack Black and Keegan-Michael Key brings the beloved franchise to the big screen in all its iconic glory.

The latest trailer also teases that the upcoming movie will include a "Mario Kart" segment, which is an iconic part of the video games franchise. During races, Mario can double Bullet Billed and cause havoc on his opponents with green shells - which look remarkably similar to weapons found in Mario Kart's Rainbow Road track.

It looks like it will be an exciting adventure! Fans of the games as well as parents are sure to love this trailer!

Seth Rogen

Illumination's animated Super Mario franchise adaptation, featuring Chris Pratt and Charlie Day as the iconic characters, has just released its final trailer. It includes a thrilling introduction, Mad Max-style battle on Rainbow Road, as well as plenty of nods to the video game series itself.

Most of the movie trailers have focused on Mario and Luigi, but this one offers better views of Donkey Kong, a more detailed glimpse of Bowser's plans, as well as an overall sense of how big an adventure this is. Plus it includes some beloved Nintendo characters along with some new ones: Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy), Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and Luigi's brother Bowser.

Super Mario 3D World fans have been eagerly awaiting new content since Donkey Kong donned a cat suit and started throwing up green shells. Additionally, new footage includes an extended Super Mario Kart segment that adds to the action in this franchise. This addition to the film will surely please many as fans eagerly await Donkey Kong's appearance as a cat suit-wearing cat!

No matter the quality of the movie, Universal's Mario franchise is sure to be a big success. Their 2022 offerings have out-grossed Disney and Pixar's animated offerings at the box office, featuring actors like Pratt, Taylor-Joy, Day, and Rogen voice over beloved Nintendo characters in what promises to be an instant classic. Regardless of its success at the box office in 2022, the studio looks set for even greater success with this project.

Fred Armisen

One of the key actors in the upcoming film is comedian Fred Armisen, who has been a staple on Saturday Night Live for years. His other credits include Pacific Rim, Horrible Bosses and The Lego Movie as well as several TV shows.

This will be his first major feature film role since leaving SNL, and he certainly has the talent for it. His voice has a similar tone to Mario's, making him an ideal fit in this role.

Armisen will portray Bowser, one of the most iconic characters from Mario's series. This marks the first time this video game franchise has been adapted for the big screen and promises to be an amazing movie!

The film will also feature Luigi, who was last seen in Super Mario Bros. and has recently appeared in several of the latest games. Additionally, this adaptation introduces some new characters like Cranky Kong who was a staple of early games.

Seth Rogen stars as Donkey Kong, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike in this ensemble cast that boasts many familiar faces. It promises to be an entertaining watch!

Before the theatrical release, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots have joined Jimmy to celebrate Mario Day on The Tonight Show. They're singing the video game franchise's classic theme song in anticipation for its upcoming theatrical release on April 7. What a great way to get in the mood before seeing Mario in theaters!

Charlie Day

Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, Super Mario Bros will hit theaters on April 5 - two days earlier than its previously announced release date!

The movie follows Mario (Day), a brave plumber who must band together with his brother Luigi (Natalie) to save their kingdom from Bowser's fury. Based on Nintendo's iconic video game of the same name, which was originally released in Japan before being remade as a 1993 film in 1993, this world is brought to life through iconic Nintendo characters.

Recently, a full cast list was announced, featuring Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.
