Steph Curry Stats for the 2023 NBA Season

Steph Curry's game is unique in that he can dribble and create space between himself and the defender, allowing him to snag the ball before quickly setting up for a 3-point shot. This skill set has always intrigued observers since his days playing for Duke in high school.

He's put in hours honing this skill and it shows, as he can shoot from any position on the floor and pull off numerous trick shots. See where he ranks in 2023 and throughout his career below!

Points

Steph Curry, despite being an undersized point guard, is an incredibly effective player and one of the best in the game. He leads in multiple statistical categories such as points per game and three-point shooting percentage in the league.

He is an impressive rebounder, as evidenced by his 6.1 rebounds per game this season. Additionally, he ranks among the top five in many categories such as assists and steals.

Although he doesn't make as many free throws as some other point guards, he still manages to score efficiently. His field goal percentage (FG%) stands at an impressive 61.1%, and this year he also snags 19 rejections and 339 dimes.

The Warriors have struggled on the road, but Curry has managed to put up impressive numbers while away. His career average of 30.5 points per game while away is up from 28.9 at home, showing that he can make up ground when needed.

Although he doesn't rank among the top 10 for career points, he did manage to break LeBron James' record for most three-pointers made in a single game last season. If he can keep this level of production going into his late 30s, he could become the first NBA player to reach 30,000 career points and pass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the title of most successful 3-point shooter in NBA history.

Rebounds

Steph Curry is one of the most exciting and beloved players in the NBA, leading his team to several championships as one of its greatest shooters. He has led his team to several titles over his career-long.

Curry is renowned for his remarkable accuracy from beyond the arc, quick release, range and court vision. These skills have earned him a place among the top-five all-time scorers and cemented his place as a fan favorite.

This season, Curry is on pace for over 14,000 career points and may break Ray Allen's record for total 3-pointers made during a season. But whether or not Curry can sustain this level of scoring throughout his career remains in question.

Assists

Steph Curry is an impressive all-around player who can do it all. Whether it's producing impressive stats in the paint or on the court, this three-time NBA champion always comes through when the pressure is put on.

Since his draft by the Golden State Warriors in 2006, North American superstar Stephen Curry has been an unstoppable force for his team. Not only has he won four championships and earned two NBA MVP awards and one Finals MVP award throughout his career, but he also excels at inspiring teammates to greater heights.

Assists are an integral part of any team's offense, and Curry is no different. In fact, he leads the league in assists per game and ranks second overall for overall assist volume.

He's a prolific shooter, averaging 11.5 three-pointers per game this season and making more than 402 three-pointers throughout his career. Additionally, he is an impressive distributor, dishing out 6.8 assists per game and collecting 5.0 rebounds per game.

Stephen Curry may not be the most efficient player on the court, but he does an excellent job of passing the ball and helping his team win games. His 14-game streak in March shows just how fired up he gets when playoff time arrives; averaging 30.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and shooting 50.2 percent from field in those contests while shooting an amazing 44.4 percent from deep during that stretch.

Steals

Steph Curry's career has been filled with incredible moments, one of which came in 2022 when he scored 50 points to secure the All-Star MVP title. It was the pinnacle of his season which saw him lead his team to the NBA Finals despite several injuries and the absence of key players like Durant and Thompson.

At the same time, Curry set an NBA record by hitting 402 3-pointers out of 886 attempts - the most in one season. Additionally, his number surpasses Ray Allen's regular and post-season total for made threes made in both regular and postseason play combined.

Since the start of this season, Stephen Curry has been one of the league's most impressive players. His per-game steals total has increased by almost half from last year and his home-court advantage has only served to further increase those numbers.

On Friday night, his performance against Milwaukee was another impressive one. He shot better than 50% from the field in an overtime win to secure a thrilling 125-116 triumph and finished with 36 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in 43 minutes - averaging over 29 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.8 assists while shooting 48 percent from deep over his last four games.

Blocks

One of the underrated aspects of the Golden State dynasty is Stephen Curry's block scoring prowess. To date, he has amassed a league leading 562 blocks in 2023 - accounting for nearly 70% of their shots attempted over nearly seventy regular season games. Though they have yet to produce a triple double, these duos are more than capable of keeping up with their peers in the league. With Draymond Green and Kevin Durant returning and Klay Thompson and Dwight Howard likely coming off the pine, Warriors should be well positioned for another deep run in postseason events with all these stars ready to contribute.

Efficiency

Steph Curry remains one of the NBA's most efficient players despite his age and failing health. In fact, he ranks among the top-5 scorers in both 9-cat and 8-cat formats.

He's an incredibly gifted player, scoring over 35 points per game on a 50% shooting percentage from the field. In his last six games he hasn't missed a field goal and has scored at least 30 points in four of those contests.

This season, he's set a new career-high in 3-point percentage. His average of more than five made 3-pointers per game is an incredible improvement from his age-27 average.

NBA legend Ray Allen has now been surpassed in 3-pointer attempts for both regular and post-season play, an incredible accomplishment for any shooter, much less someone who's been working towards it for two decades!

Curry is an unstoppable force when it comes to shooting from beyond the arc, ranking third in the NBA with a 70% success rate - an all-time high for his franchise.

On Sunday night, the Warriors take on the Minnesota Timberwolves and we'll see if Curry can help them pull off another victory. While that is certainly possible, if the Warriors want to make a deep run in this year's playoffs, they will need more than just their star player to succeed.
