Revealing the Truth - Why Sheree Whitfield's Boyfriend Tyrone Stood Her Up

Sheree Whitfield made headlines on Sunday's episode of RHOA when she revealed she dated Tyrone Gilliams, currently serving a sentence for white collar crime. They planned on meeting up in Philadelphia but Sheree brought Bravo cameras with her which could've put him back behind bars as it violates his parole agreement. 1. He Didn’t Want to Talk to Sheree Sheree Whitfield returned to Real Housewives of Atlanta this season, discussing her relationship with Tyrone Gilliams with Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Marlo Hampton - among others - when he was released from prison and transferred to a halfway house; She claimed they are soul mates and started planning their wedding as soon as he moved in together at his halfway house residence; however, their storyline took an unexpected turn when Tyrone cancelled on them at their Philly lunch date and stood her up when scheduled in advance by Sheree. According to TMZ, Sheree and Tyrone planned a meeting at a Philadelphia restaurant on November 6 to film a scene together; however, Sheree failed to inform him she would bring a camera crew with her which could violate Tyrone's home confinement agreement and led him to decline the opportunity. Sheree claims she traveled all the way from NYC to Philadelphia in order to see Tyrone and grab some food, waiting around at a restaurant for two hours before calling him but never hearing back; additionally, his line remained constantly busy as she noticed. She concluded he must have blocked her. After speaking to Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida about what had occurred with Tyrone, Sheree expressed her displeasure at not showing up as scheduled and demanded an apology; however, Tyrone denied having let her down. He then revealed that he was a former drug dealer who had been sentenced to 10 years for wire fraud, after which he was placed into home confinement before eventually moving back into a halfway house and eventually back out into society. Since being released, he had been working hard at getting himself back together while also not dating Sheree anymore. Though Tyrone denied that he abandoned Sheree, Sheree is still reeling from his decision to not come through with their relationship agreement. She recently tweeted her experience and encouraged other ladies to be cautious when dating someone new. We hope Sheree finds love again soon - until then, here are our heart emojis for Sheree! 2. He Didn’t Want to See Her Sheree Whitfield suffered emotionally when Tyrone abruptly stood her up on Real Housewives of Atlanta this season. Having driven from New York City, Sheree found out he hadn't shown. As a result, Sheree sat alone outside a Philadelphia restaurant only to find that Tyrone hadn't come for dinner as scheduled - she began crying and calling Tyrone without success, with calls going straight to voicemail and texts being ignored by him. While Sheree is known to be strong, this incident proved too much even for her to handle alone. Tyrone was released from prison and transferred to a halfway house where he met Sheree; however, their relationship soon soured when Sheree wanted to film him at a restaurant, violating his home confinement terms and potentially sending him back into incarceration. Tyrone sent a cease and desist letter to Bravo saying that without consent he cannot appear on their show. Tyrone is currently working on a television project called Love in the Feds that will address mass incarceration and families affected by legal systems. When Tasha K asked him about Sheree, Tyrone became defensive and responded that she was only there to make him famous. Tyrone had been dating Sheree's daughter Tierra at one point but their relationship has since ended. Tyrone became disgruntled after Sheree bought Bravo cameras to film him at a restaurant which could have sent him back into jail for violating parole; following this scandal he obtained employment at a security company while living in a halfway house in Philadelphia; Sheree has also moved on and started dating someone new but did not reveal their name to the audience; hopefully these two can put all this behind them and find happiness together - it's about time! 3. He Didn’t Want to Be with Her Tyrone wasn't necessarily interested in Sheree; he just needed somewhere to live and money to support himself. So he got out of prison and moved into a halfway house in Philadelphia where he met Sheree. Sheree went the extra mile to surprise Tyrone, only for it backfire. She told him she'd be leaving NYC to head to Philly with RHOA cameras, causing things to unravel further - Tyrone was under home confinement and couldn't travel more than 100 miles; should he have met Sheree at any restaurant, it could've breached his parole agreement and sent back into custody immediately. Sheree arrived in Philadelphia and attempted to contact Tyrone, but he wouldn't answer her phone call. After calling their daughter who informed her he may have blocked her number, Sheree waited approximately 30 minutes before a producer came over and informed her it would constitute a parole violation and therefore Tyrone wouldn't show. Sheree was visibly upset, breaking down in tears. Luckily, however, Sheree decided to film for the season regardless, so viewers will get to witness their reunion at She by Sheree fashion show later on this year. Andy Cohen asked Sheree why she remained celibate after Tyrone's prison release and she responded that the sex wasn't satisfying and didn't want to waste her life unsatisfied. Now, Tyrone is offering his side of the story. He contends that Sheree wasn't interested in having any sort of romantic relationship after he returned from prison; rather she used him just for reality TV purposes. Tyrone says he no longer wishes to be with Sheree, yet still plans on continuing his efforts for prison reform with Love in the Feds documentary series. 4. He Didn’t Want to Be with Her Daughter Sheree, one of the original cast members from The Real Housewives of Atlanta, is no stranger to love life drama, and this season has not disappointed. Currently in a relationship with Tyrone whom she first introduced via collect call during one RHOA episode, during Sunday night's episode Sheree was shocked that Tyrone didn't show up when she drove two hours from New York City to Philadelphia but then didn't show. Instead she was left devastated after driving two hours only for him not show up despite leaving Kandi's Broadway play in New York City hoping he would come meet her. According to TMZ, Sheree began the argument when she informed Tyrone she would be driving from NYC to Philly with a camera crew documenting their trip. At that point, things quickly devolved. Sources tell TMZ that Tyrone didn't want Sheree to bring a camera crew for filming purposes because that could violate his home confinement order and potentially make him look bad on television. Tyrone has been serving his wire fraud conviction since 2013. Due to overcrowding within prison systems and coronavirus outbreaks, Tyrone has been granted temporary release into home confinement until serving out his remaining sentence. Sheree discussed her disappointment in Tyrone during a recent appearance of Watch What Happens Live, saying she hadn't spoken with him since Philly episode aired and still felt "f-king stupid" waiting years for him in prison. Sheree explained on YouTube video published by Bravo Insider that she will no longer allow Tyrone to make her feel embarrassed by him, encouraging other women to protect their hearts and find someone worthy. Sheree's advice includes, "Don't give up on your dreams or hopes just because someone you think isn't good enough. Sheree also encouraged other ladies to be good mothers by always being there for their children.
