Rabbit Hole Stars Kiefer Sutherland

Rabbit Hole Stars Kiefer Sutherland

blog_img

Kiefer Sutherland, best known for his roles as Jack Bauer in 24 and Designated Survivor, returns to episodic TV with Paramount+ thriller Rabbit Hole. It premieres March 26.

John Weir (Sutherland), an experienced corporate espionage tech, finds himself caught up in a conspiracy that could threaten America's citizens. Additionally, he's being pursued by an enigmatic new woman (Meta Golding), Hailey Winton, whom he unexpectedly falls for.

The premise

Paramount+'s latest paranoia thriller stars Kiefer Sutherland as John Weir, an expert technician in firm espionage. He's successful and respected but when his job goes sour, he's falsely accused of the murder of Treasury Department official Edward Homm (Rob Yang).

Although it may seem counterintuitive to cast Kiefer Sutherland in Rabbit Hole, director Glen Ficarra assures us his performance will leave viewers in awe episode after episode.

Weir's career as a corporate spy is on the decline, but he has an ambitious plan that will get him out of jail and back into his superiors' good graces. This strategy involves manipulation, deception and technology - along with mass explosions and cellphones in mixers.

But Weir's game takes an unexpected turn when he meets Hailey Winton (Meta Golding) in a bar. Their bond becomes the test to see if he can put aside his doubts and put faith in others.

He becomes embroiled in an evil conspiracy involving mysterious, supernatural forces with designs to control populations - a concept which should send chills down everyone's spine.

This drama's plotline has been likened to that of Three Days of the Condor, featuring Robert Redford as an upper echelons of CIA officers who must kill their own agents to protect humanity. But this concept is far more intricate and captivating than that.

If this series is anything like ABC's mismanaged Lone Survivor, it could well become one of the most unlikely successes since James Bond's first movie.

With an ensemble cast led by charismatic Sutherland, this show has the potential to make a serious impact on television. That said, let's give it our best shot and see what happens in its eight-episode first season when it premieres March 26.

The cast

Kiefer Sutherland returns to episodic television in Paramount+ thriller Rabbit Hole, premiering March 26. In it he stars as John Weir, an expert technician in corporate espionage.

He's a paranoid pawn in an intricate game of corporate espionage with designs to control the population. When his occupation goes sour, he's falsely accused and executed by Treasury Department charismatic Edward Homm (Rob Yang).

Hailey Winton (Meta Golding), the woman he meets in a bar, tests Weir to see if he can trust himself.

Raymond Lembecke is a con man recently released from prison for selling drugs to mob boss Tony Vago. He believes Vago owes him money, so he sets out to steal one million dollars worth of it from him.

All this points to a conspiracy that seeks to destroy America. And it's up to Jack Bauer and Kim Wilde (Kate Mara) to foil the plan before it's too late.

But the real drama unfolds when Jack's best friend Rick Sloan (Michael Cristofer) finds himself in a precarious situation of his own after getting mistakenly caught up in a police drug sting.

This new TV hero has plenty of guts and conviction, but he must be wary not to let his good intentions get him into trouble. Plus, his past doesn't exactly make it easy for him to build relationships with others either.

Kiefer Sutherland returns to Paramount+ with another case that may or may not be what it seems - or at least, what he believes it to be.

Sutherland's role as Freeway in 1996 helped him land his first big-screen lead role and earned him both a Hollywood Walk of Fame and Canada's Walk of Fame nomination.

He then went on to star in the crime-action film Ground Control and has appeared in several science fiction films such as A Time to Kill and Dark City. Additionally, he voiced Venom Snake from Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain video games.

The trailer

Kiefer Sutherland, star of the hit series 24, returns as a lone-wolf hero for Rabbit Hole on Paramount Plus. In this new thriller, the veteran actor portrays John Weir - an expert deceiver in corporate espionage who finds himself accused of murder and must fight for his life.

With the release of a new trailer, we get our first glimpse at this captivating show. In an age of fake news and dark forces, Weir must fight for his own survival while working to preserve democracy.

Sutherland, who played Jack Bauer on the long-running TV drama 24, will executive produce the straight-to-streaming series alongside This Is Us writers-directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra. He's joined by Charlie Gogolak (The Sinner, WeCrashed), Suzan Bymel (Designated Survivor) and Hunt Baldwin (Longmire The Closer).

This eight-episode thriller will premier on Paramount Plus March 26 in the US and Canada, followed by weekly releases on Sundays for subscribers around the world where the streaming service is available.

This story takes place in a dystopian future and follows an innocent but astute private espionage operative as they attempt to save themselves from accusations of murder. But they soon come to understand there is more going on than meets the eye.

Weir is an expert in corporate espionage, but his mission to collect intelligence on a corrupt Treasury Department official ends up having him falsely accused of the murder of his benefactor. While trying to differentiate reality from fiction, Weir must learn to trust others in order to save his own skin.

Weir's powerful performance has drawn comparisons to Robert Redford's Three Days of the Condor. That film, featuring a CIA analyst on an intense killing spree, revolutionized thriller genre with its intense action sequences and somber tone.

Rabbit Hole stands out as a unique thriller, combining humor and drama to keep viewers guessing episode after episode. Plus, its incredible cast includes Charles Dance ("Last Action Hero," "Gosford Park") as Dr. Ben Wilson; Meta Golding (Empire) as Hailey Winton; Enid Graham ("Mare of Easttown") as Josephine 'Jo' Madi; Jason Butler Harner (Ozark) as Valence; and Rob Yang (Succession) as Edward Homm.

The verdict

Kiefer Sutherland is in search of a starring role in an exciting thriller from the team behind I Love You Phillip Morris and WeCrashed. John Weir (Sutherland), an expert corporate espionage specialist, finds himself unwittingly framed for two high-profile murders. Luckily for him, there's someone out there in the know who knows how to save the day and keep everyone safe.

The Verdict: Rabbit Hole is one of the best new shows to hit television screens recently, despite its shortcomings. Fans who enjoy espionage will enjoy it immensely thanks to its stellar talent and captivating storylines. Its fast-paced plotting and predicting abilities should serve it well over its full season, while its many snagging opportunities should make it a longstanding staple within streaming genre. TL; MT.

Where is the world cup 2022

The World Cup 2022

A month-long soccer tournament will kick off in a Middle Eastern country, uniting 32 teams from around the world. It's an opportunity for unity that will be watched by five billion people around the world.

It's also a moral debacle, as the host country has been accused of human rights violations. FIFA's decision to hold the event there has caused outrage among many in the international community.

Venues

World Cup 2022 will be the biggest sporting event of 2022, with 5 billion people expected to watch 64 matches across 32 teams. This year, however, the tournament is taking place in Qatar where there has been much controversy regarding potential human rights violations against migrant workers during stadium construction.

Doha, the host nation's capital, will host four of the eight venues for this year's tournament. All stadiums within a 22-mile (35 km) radius of Doha can accommodate at least 40,000 fans.

Stadium 974 will be one of the world's most innovative stadiums, constructed entirely out of shipping containers. This 40,000-seat arena will be the first fully dismountable stadium ever constructed and can be relocated and reused elsewhere after competitions.

World Cup game at this stadium will set a record for cost - making it one of the priciest venues ever built. But it promises to be one of the most thrilling as well.

Al Bayt Stadium, set to open its doors on November 20, 2022, will serve as the site for Qatar's opening match against Ecuador in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Afterwards, it will host several other important sporting events.

Education City Stadium is another notable venue, featuring a diamond-like geometric pattern along its facade. This stadium will become an integral hub for the community with retail zones, conference facilities and health/wellness amenities being added.

Five more venues will be used during the World Cup, including Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium - one of the oldest host venues that was renovated specifically for this tournament back in 2005.

Khalifa International Stadium, Qatar's only remaining stadium that will not be repurposed or demolished after the event, will remain unchanged from its original form as their national soccer stadium. Opened in 1976, it underwent extensive refurbishment prior to hosting the championships.

The Lusail Iconic Stadium, the largest of the host venues with 80,000 seats, will host the world cup final on December 18.

Schedule

World Cup 2022 was a historic football competition held in Qatar from November 20 to December 18. Teams from around the globe competed for the title of world cup champions during this historic event.

The World Cup is an international football tournament held every four years and organized by FIFA, the world's governing body of soccer.

At the World Cup, 32 teams will battle it out in 64 matches over 28 days. The top two teams from each group qualify for knockout rounds.

Group stage matches will take place across eight stadiums: Al Bayt Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Lusail Iconic Stadium, Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, Education City Stadium and All Janab Stadium.

Each stadium has its own time zone, meaning fans from different countries can watch their teams play on the same day. This gives fans more chances than ever before to watch more matches in their region.

For instance, in the United States all matches will be broadcast on Fox and FS1 in English. Furthermore, all of these matches can be streamed through streaming services like fubo or YouTube TV.

Some of the top sports betting sites will provide live World Cup coverage, including Betway, Ladbrokes, William Hill and Paddy Power.

The world cup is one of the biggest sporting events in history, offering fans around the globe a chance to celebrate football with friends and family while making some extra money by betting on their favorite team. It can also be an opportunity for those seeking extra income by placing bets on their favorite squad.

As with any major sporting event, there are some key dates that fans should be aware of. These include the kickoff times for all group matches and the first round of knockout matches.

In the US, you can watch the tournament in English on FOX and FS1, as well as Spanish on Telemundo and Universo. Furthermore, all games will be streamed live via Fox Sports app and Peacock Premium; sign up for a free trial or purchase your subscription here.

Matches

World Cup 2022 will bring together 32 of the greatest national teams in football to compete for the ultimate honor. Each team will play four matches during group play, and then the top two teams from each group advance to knockout rounds where they will battle it out for the coveted World Cup crown.

The best part of it all is that all matches take place within 46 miles, providing football fans with an unparalleled chance to catch a match. Here are some of the most intriguing matches scheduled to take place at Qatar national stadium.

There are a few other notable matches taking place around Doha, but none quite compare to the prestigious final set to be one of the greatest World Cups ever.

Before traveling to Doha, there are a few things you should take into account. For instance, make sure to look into your group's schedule and ensure you get enough sleep before the big event.

Kickoff times

On November 20, 2022, the world cup 2022 begins with all 32 teams gearing up to play their opening matches. To avoid Qatar's summer heat, the four-week international tournament will take place during winter months - marking the first time a World Cup has been hosted by an Arab nation.

The World Cup kicks off with group matches and promises a month-long spectacle of football filled with drama, excitement and plenty to see. On December 18, the tournament comes to a thrilling close as billions watch the final match against Croatia in front of an international audience.

Fans have several ways to watch the 2022 World Cup live, including through broadcasters FOX and ESPN. Fans may also stream it online through FIFA+ Live which provides coverage in 11 languages.

Spanish speakers can watch the world cup in their preferred language through Telemundo Deportes and Universo. A 7-day free trial is available for Peacock subscribers who want to test out the streaming service.

World Cup coverage will be available through a number of sports subscription services, such as Sling TV and Vidgo. Sling TV provides live streaming in English, while Universo and Fubo TV provide bilingual viewing options.

The initial rounds of matches will commence at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm local time (10am, 1pm and 4pm in the United Kingdom). Furthermore, round of 16 and quarterfinal matches will commence at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. respectively.

On the other hand, semifinals and final will start at 2 p.m. in Qatar, meaning most games will take place during early evening hours due to being played on astroturf surfaces.

Delaying play will make it more challenging for the players to give their best performance, increasing the possibility of injury for everyone involved. That is why it is so important to check your injuries prior to each game.

World Cup 2022 has already delivered some shocking surprises, from Saudi Arabia's stunning win over Argentina to 2014 champions Germany making an unexpected exit. This tournament has been an intensely unpredictable journey so far and there is now much riding on for the remaining 16 teams.

Where is fez from

Where is Fez From?

Over the show's eight seasons, fans have speculated about Fez's home country. Though no definitive answers have been revealed yet, many fans have their own theories.

His last name is difficult to pronounce, consisting of five Ks - the first five being silent.

That ’70s Show

Netflix's revival of That '70s Show has brought together Topher Grace and Laura Prepon, reprising their roles as Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti respectively, alongside some new characters like Ashton Kutcher (Michael Kelso), Mila Kunis (Jackie Burkhart), Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde) and Wilmer Valderrama (Fez).

That '70s Show chronicles the lives of six teenagers living in Point Place, Wisconsin during the late 1970s. Eric (Topher Grace), a high schooler with an ultraconservative father named Red and his high-strung mother Kitty, are central characters. Additionally, Bob and Midge Pinciotti - Donna's parents - often follow along with popular trends of their time.

Wilmer Valderrama's character Fez has been a source of comic relief throughout the series. His accent and slight lisp make him difficult to understand, yet he continues his flirtations with Donna and Jackie without much success - although he does get caught on occasion.

He enjoys making humorous puns that only he understands, such as telling Hyde that he could "sell sperm to a clinic" for several hundred dollars, which made Hyde laugh. Overall, he has an irreverent attitude and acts like an older brother figure to him.

Fez has always had a deep-seated affection for Jackie Burkhart, and they've shared numerous onscreen kisses when he thought she might be opening up to him. Unfortunately, Jackie was highly suspicious of his attempts and eventually snapped at him when he thought her attentions had been diverted elsewhere.

His relationship with Jackie has been complicated by his racial prejudices, particularly towards women. He once dated Nina but was expelled from her home by her bigoted parents.

As a foreign exchange student in the United States, he is never identified as such and often tells his gang that he hails from an island somewhere - though he never specifies which island. Additionally, he has stated that he was once married and has both son and daughter.

That ’90s Show

That '90s Show is a Netflix spinoff of the beloved sitcom That '70s Show and follows an entirely new generation of Point Place teens. Starring Callie Haverda as Leia Forman, daughter to Eric and Donna (Topher Grace and Laura Prepon), this new series brings back most of the original cast members while giving new life to their beloved journeys in Point Place.

The premiere episode follows Donna and Eric's teenage daughter Leia as she moves to her grandparents' house in Point Place for the summer. There, she meets a group of new kids and embarks on her own journey.

It's impossible not to notice the many pop culture references to the era in which That '90s Show takes place. Bonnie Turner, Terry Turner, Lindsey Turner and Gregg Mettler say they want to preserve that time period by including things like Smashing Pumpkins music from that era.

James Iha, guitarist for one of the decade's biggest bands, will compose the theme song for this new series and enlisted Brett Anderson - former lead vocalist of The Donnas - to lend his vocals.

Fez, an exchange student from an unknown country that was a staple of That '70s Show, also makes an appearance on the Netflix revival. He plays an integral role in the series but unlike Eric and his gang, has no idea where they come from or their real name.

He's a beloved character on the show, and fans have been eager to know his origin ever since his introduction. In That '70s Show's pilot episode as an exchange student who quickly made friends with Red (Kurtwood Smith), viewers have been eagerly awaiting news of his whereabouts.

While The '70s Show never fully explained Fez's home country or real name, it did provide plenty of hints about the island he lives on. He ate bugs, lived in a jungle, and said there were more lizards than people on his island home. Additionally, Fez had to fly via Brazil in order to reach America - leading fans to speculate as to his whereabouts and how he ended up here.

Euphoria

Euphoria is an HBO series that takes a humorous look at the drug and sexual abuse issues facing high school aged teenagers. Although it's sometimes hard to watch, the show does so respectfully and appropriately.

Euphoria's cast struggles to find their place in the world while dealing with their own mental health issues. Despite its glamorized, alluring visuals, drug use and sexuality remain very real for them. They're all trying to find themselves while grappling with personal demons.

But sometimes it feels like they're not fighting hard enough. And that's when things start to spiral downward. One of the most memorable scenes from Season 2 was Cassie's mental breakdown after hooking up with Nate and feeling like she had lost all sense of self; she was so depressed that she wore exactly the same outfit as Maddy!

Maddy's iconic line, "You better be kidding," became an iconic moment for the show and helped us laugh at Cassie's desperate plea to please Nate.

The episode ends with Fez arriving at Ashtray's house wearing a t-shirt reading "The motherfucking G." As one of the main drug dealers in this universe, this scene marks an important turning point. The next episode will explore more about Custer and why he has become the leader of this drug empire.

Cal is the only character who appears to have an adult presence on the show, as we learn that he's been engaging in underage sexual activity for years and filming it for police surveillance - an intriguing development for someone with such a prominent role on this show.

As previously noted, Euphoria is a show that has some of the most intense content imaginable. It can be challenging to watch and even more so to discuss; yet it's essential that these issues be discussed since they affect people across America. It is an incredibly sensitive issue that should never be glossed over.

Meknes

Meknes was once the capital of Morocco and is renowned for its stunning architecture and vibrant culture and tradition. Making Meknes an ideal tourist destination in Morocco, visitors are sure to have an enjoyable and enriching experience here.

Meknes was founded by Almoravids in the 11th century and earned UNESCO World Heritage Site designation in 1996. It features an incredible blend of Islamic and European architectural styles that is truly remarkable.

The city is divided into two distinct sections, the old (medina) and new (ville nouvelle). In the former part, you will find most of its historical sights such as remnants of King Henry VIII's palace and tomb, which you can explore.

Once you've explored the old city, move on to Ville Nouvelle where there are more restaurants and attractions. For an even more enjoyable experience, take a caleche ride around the city for some unique perspectives of its sights.

Additionally, there are plenty of souks and markets in the region. Tourists flock here for their wide selection of foodstuffs and beverages that can be purchased.

If you want to sample some local treats while in Meknes, visiting the souk in the old medina is highly recommended. Here you will find an array of products such as leather goods, wood crafts and Damasquinerie pieces.

Take a stroll through the medina, where you will come across some stunning and historic buildings to explore. These landmarks will help you gain insight into this wonderful city's fascinating past.

In addition to Meknes' historical buildings, you should visit its souks for an insight into local customs and culture. Not only that, but these markets make great places for souvenir shopping as well.

When planning a visit to Meknes, it's best to book a guided tour in advance so you can fully appreciate its sights. These tours usually include an experienced guide and return transport back to your hotel in Meknes.
