Attorney for Playboi Carti has declared his client innocent after being arrested on all felony charges stemming from an incident in December. TMZ reports that the Whole Lotta Red rapper grabbed his pregnant girlfriend by the throat, choked her, and pushed her until she could barely breathe.

According to TMZ, The Whole Lotta Red artist was arrested on felony aggravated assault charges following the incident. When cops arrived on the scene they noted visible injuries to her neck, chest and back.
After being released on bond, Carti was sought out by his lawyer, Brian Steel. Mr. Steel denies all accusations made against his client and maintains that he was "falsely accused" in court.
Carti's attorney has stated that the case against him will be dismissed. He had been in contact with the Fulton County District Attorney office and is confident that there won't be any prosecution or litigation.
Although Carti has yet to respond publicly to the rumours, his former girlfriend Iggy Azalea has addressed them via Twitter. Although she has not named Carti specifically, she appears to have labeled him as a "serious abuser" in multiple tweets.
Azalea previously had relationships with Blac Chyna and Carti, who is currently dating another woman. Together they have a son.
