The Game After Rolling Ray was hospitalized following a shooting incident, City Girls member Yung Miami sent out several tweets in which she hinted at attacking those whom are blessed and highly favoured. She advised followers against trying to bring down people whom she considers fortunate. Nicki Minaj took an unconventional tack in her response. Instead of adding more fuel to the flames, the Queen rapper invited Yung Miami to come see her show and discuss the matter further. Yung Miami accepted the invite but did not offer an apology or seek to use this incident as a learning experience. She used this opportunity to promote her new scholarship fund, Student of the Game. Through this initiative, 37 fans will have their tuition or remaining student loan payments covered through this initiative. The Game has always been an active member of hip-hop culture, whether battling rivals such as 50 Cent or donating to charities. Nicki Minaj has since gone viral in her video of singing the "Student of the Game," prompting viewers to question whether she is simply making fun or actually believes what it says. Not for nothing has she used her platform to promote social activism: earlier this year, through her foundation, she set up a scholarship fund which will pay college tuition or remaining student loan balances of 37 fans of hers as part of its "Student of the Game" scholarship fund. Hankook Ilbo reported that in October 2016 YG's subsidiary company merged with Natural High Record (NHR). NHR has been linked with the Burning Sun gate incident where Seungri was suspected to be involved. This polarizing single and music video captures anger over Nipsey Hussle's death as well as creates friction between him and LA rapper Hood Chemist.
