Nick Cannon Jokes He'd Be Down With Taylor Swift Being the Mom of His 13th Child
Nick Cannon is already the father to 12 children with six different women. His 11-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan are with Mariah Carey; son Golden "Sagon," 6, daughter Powerful Queen, 2, and Rise Messiah (6 months) belong to Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir (21 months), Beautiful Zeppelin (4 months) belong to Abby de la Rosa; while Onyx Ice (6 months) and Halo Marie (3 months) were adopted from model Alyssa Scott (3 months).
Nick Cannon, the "Masked Singer" host, has already fathered 12 children with six different women. He shares 11-year-old fraternal twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-wife Mariah Carey, who he was married to from 2008 to 2014; son Golden "Sagon," 6; daughter Powerful Queen, 2; and son Rise Messiah, 6 months, with Brittany Bell. He also has son Legendary Love, 9 months, with model Bre Tiesi; daughter Onyx Ice, 6 months, with LaNisha Cole; and son Zen, who died at 5 months in December 2021, with Alyssa Scott.
When he was asked on the "Howard Stern Show" about expanding his family, the Masked Singer star said he would be "all in" to have his 13th child with Taylor Swift. But he said that the "Shake It Off" singer would have to be “someone very special” and would have to “be cold.”
According to CNN, Cannon told Stern he was happy with his large brood but wouldn't mind having another child if the right woman came along. When Stern asked him who he'd like to have his next child with, he said he thought Swift would be "amazing."
After her breakup with longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn in April 2022, Swift is reportedly single again and is ready to move forward. But it's clear that she still has a lot in common with Cannon, including their shared musical talent and the same experiences of dating as a celebrity.
The singer and Cannon both know that a breakup can be hard. It's no secret that the singer was going through a rough patch during her relationship with Alwyn. Earlier this year, it was reported that Swift and Alwyn had split, but that she still loved him.
While many social media users took offense to Cannon's comment, others were supportive of the Masked Singer host. Some commented on Twitter that he should be "outside" Swift's life, while others praised her as an amazing artist and mother.
Despite her fans' support, it seems as though Taylor Swift has no plans to expand her family anytime soon. And that's probably for the best.
Taylor Swift's news that she and long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn have broken up has left many with a heavy heart. Though their relationship remains private, they've kept fans in the know through subtle Easter eggs and songs featuring them.
Swift and her partner had been dating for several years before their engagement ended in April 2023. During that time, the two traveled together and celebrated many significant milestones in their relationship.
Swift and Alwyn were often photographed together, yet their relationship remained relatively under wraps. They shared a few photos on Instagram together though, and she even attended the premiere of his film The Favourite where she promoted it.
However, it was during the 2020 NME Awards when fans began to question if Swift and Alwyn were actually married, as Swift donned a bridal-looking Zimmermann's Charm Star Lace & Ruffle Trim Silk Dress. Additionally, they sat together at O2 Academy Brixton in London where videos emerged of them kissing and hugging each other.
It wasn't until 2020 that they officially confirmed they were dating, but since then there have been multiple signs of their connection. They were seen together at the 2020 Met Gala and she has frequently spoken of her admiration for the actor in interviews.
Swift even wrote several songs on her 2020 album, Folklore, that referenced her and Alwyn's relationship. One track, "Sweet Nothing," was co-written by Swift and Alwyn under the pen name William Bowery.
Entertainment Tonight reports the couple parted ways a few weeks ago after their relationship "had just run its course." The split was amicable and not particularly dramatic.
Swift has yet to address their breakup, but is said to be focusing on her 2023 Eras tour and returning to work. According to reports, she and Alwyn had a "warm, loving, respectful" relationship during their time together.
Swift remains unmarried and has no plans for marriage anytime soon. Her priorities are rerecording her entire catalog of music, directing short films and hinting at a feature film someday. Furthermore, Swift is a busy mom to her young sons while also prepping to release an entirely new album in 2020.
Taylor Swift has made it through the American music industry without fail. She started out as a country singer but eventually blossomed into an immense pop star.
Her success has been solely due to her determination and strength, which have allowed her to blossom into the superstar she is today. As a mother, she's been able to apply what she's learned throughout life to assist her children in navigating difficult circumstances.
She's also a wonderful friend, always there to support her friends and family during times of difficulty. Her recent message about Andrea returning to cancer treatment has been heartwarming, serving as a poignant reminder that we should all take extra care with our own families.
Through her career, she's maintained many connections with men and women who have inspired her musically and formed the basis of her personal identity. But it is her parents who have been the most significant influences in her life; not only are they her biggest supporters, but they've also assisted in making it successful in the music industry.
Scott and Andrea Swift have been Taylor's biggest supporters from her early days, believing in her ability to succeed as an artist. Even leaving their opulent home in Reading, Pennsylvania to move to Nashville was proof that this was where Taylor needed to be to truly make it as a star.
In 2011, Taylor spoke with The New Yorker about her mother's role in helping her reach success. She organized every tour, as well as making sure Taylor got enough sleep every night.
Her mother has been an immense source of inspiration throughout her career, and she often incorporates her in her music. On her latest album, there's a song dedicated to her mom called "Best Day", plus she features her in the video for "Soon You'll Get Better," released earlier this year.
Her parents have also supported her career beyond music, including helping her secure a job as a nanny for a family in Philadelphia. Furthermore, she made sure to keep them updated on her progress so they could know when things were going well or poorly.
Taylor Swift fans know she has an extensive circle of famous friends. Many have been close to her for years, though some have since parted ways. Yet no matter what life throws at Taylor Swift, she remains a great friend.
She's an incredible mom and she adores her children so much. She always talks adorably about them, expressing how proud she is of each one.
Swift manages to carve out time for her children despite her hectic schedule. She has shown her support by attending their birthday parties, introducing them to her music, and giving them gifts.
Swift has always shown her affection towards her friends, both onstage and off. She includes them in her songs and she's been by her side through it all - whether that be through good times or bad. Her friends have become an important part of Swift's life.
One of Selena Swift's closest friends, she and Gomez have been close for over a decade. Both actors have shared many public photos together as well as private moments.
Cara Delevingne and her friend are often seen together, including at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (2013) and New York City.
Taylor has long been a favorite of the actress, appearing in her 2015 "Bad Blood" music video and joining Taylor on her Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018.
Her other famous friends have been incredibly supportive of Swift's work. Actress Lena Dunham, for instance, is an ardent Swift fan and frequently sends her praises via Twitter. In 2018, Swift even attended a rehearsal of her Reputation Stadium Tour!
Blake Lively, 35, and Swift have a close bond. They've been photographed together often over the years, most recently attending Swift's 2017 New Year's Eve party.
