KFC and Australian artist Shannon Noll have joined forces for a food and football campaign that promises to keep you entertained. Featuring the new anthem performed by Noll and punk band DZ Deathrays, the song will soundtrack KFC footy advertising throughout the 2023 NRL and AFL seasons.

Introducing the 'Shannon Dinner Roll'

KFC Australia has joined forces with Australian artist Shannon Noll to bring you some delectable food and footy. To commemorate the collaboration, they've introduced the 'Shannon Dinner Roll' menu item and released an anthem called 'Fried Night Footy'.

The 'Shannon Dinner Roll' is a bite-sized version of KFC's Hot & Crispy Boneless Chicken with chilli relish, cheese, lettuce and the iconic Supercharged Sauce. You can get this tasty treat at select NRL and AFL games throughout the season!

On Saturday, March 11th at Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe, supporters of the Dolphins as they make their first home game and NRL debut against Melbourne Storm can get their hands on an exclusive menu item for FREE during the game.

KFC and Australian music icon Shannon Noll have joined forces to release 'Fried Night Footy', their new anthem that will soundtrack KFC advertising across NRL and AFL this season. Performed by Noll and Queensland dance-punk trio DZ Deathrays, the song will be featured in KFC's footy advertisements this season.

KFC describes their song as a "true blue ode to Friday Night Footy" and an expression of their commitment to fried goodness. The fast-food company describes it as an "earworm" that will be played throughout the season on both radio and social media channels.

Noll describes his collaboration with KFC as a "dream come true," adding his vocals to their new anthem. He's "super chuffed to be working on this project alongside KFC and DZ Deathrays."

Fast food chain KFC has long been known for its delectable dishes, and recently collaborated with ARIA Award-winning EDM duo Peking Duk on their "Peking Cluk Burger" and special live event called Feastival.

On March 3rd, KFC's "Fried Night Footy" soundtrack will be released and featured in their footy advertisements. Produced by Pitch Lab - KFC's audio and video content manager - the song was inspired by KFC's famous footy logo and is set to become part of their signature playlist.

'Fried Night Footy' anthem

KFC has taken their football-watching to new heights by creating some finger-licking good treats to enjoy at the game. To start, Colonel Sanders created the 'Shannon Dinner Roll' - a bite-sized creation featuring Hot & Crispy Boneless Chicken, chilli relish, cheese, lettuce and their famous Supercharged Sauce all wrapped up inside one of their iconic dinner rolls.

KFC's 'Shannon Dinner Roll' is one of their newest menu items and will be available at select NRL and AFL games this season. Furthermore, they've collaborated with Aussie music legend Shannon Noll and Queensland dance-punk trio DZ Deathrays to create the 'Fried Night Footy' anthem, paying homage to Friday night football and KFC's commitment to fried goodness.

KFC's footy advertising this season features this catchy tune, which will be featured alongside their 'Fried Night Footy Feast' offering 6 pieces of Original Recipe chicken, 8 tenders, 6 nuggets and popcorn chicken with dipping sauces.

KFC is hosting a celebration to mark their new offering and will be giving away the 'Shannon Dinner Roll' to fans at Kayo Stadium in Redcliffe on Saturday, March 11th before expanding it throughout NRL and AFL matches across Australia.
