Keyshia Cole Stuns in R&B Fashion at 'This Is My Story' Premiere

  Keyshia Cole debuted her Lifetime biopic premiere wearing an elegant ALAIA dress that highlighted her curves and displayed her new pixie cut with pride. Directed by D'Angela Proctor and Manu Boyer from an original screenplay by Angelica Cherri, Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story premiered Thursday. 1. ALAIA Dress Keyshia Cole stunned in an exquisite $2,430 ALAIA dress at the premiere of her Lifetime biopic 'This Is My Story,' showing off her curvy body to full advantage. The Love singer flaunted a long sleeve turtleneck frock featuring ruching along her hips and leg area for added curve-hugging effect, complete with black boots and diamond heart necklace for an eye-catching ensemble. Additionally she showed off her recently cut blonde shorter with close cropped locks that framed her beautiful facial features to perfection. This dramatization follows Grammy-nominated songstress Sara Bareilles as she goes from honing her musical talent in Oakland, to becoming a multi-platinum selling recording artist and television personality. At its center lies their complicated yet warmhearted relationship with their mother Frankie Lons (Debbi Morgan). D'Angela Proctor and Manu Boyer directed this film with Angelica Cheri writing the screenplay. Dedicated in Frankie's memory who passed away in 2021, this dramatization explores childhood trauma, tragedy and love before exploring ways of overcoming obstacles to becoming your best self. Keyshia will serve both executive producer and acting duties on this project which premieres June 24 on Lifetime as part of their Black Music Month celebrations. 2. Dolce & Gabbana Underwear At the Lifetime biopic screening of Keyshia's Lifetime biopic film, she donned an elegant ALAIA dress which highlighted her curvier body perfectly. Keyshia accessorized with diamond heart necklace and stud earrings from Tiffany, while she kept her hair cropped close in order to reveal more of her stunning face. "Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story", produced by Swirl Films and Big Dreams for Lifetime and dedicated to Frankie Cole (deceased), marks R&B singer Keyshia's acting debut. Directed by D'Angela Proctor and Manu Boyer with screenplay by Angelica Cheri - D'Angela Proctor made her directorial debut directing this dramatisation of childhood trauma, tragedy, complex love relationships, overcoming obstacles. Dramatization follows singer Sheila E from her early days as MC Hammer's backup singer through her rise to stardom and complicated yet warmhearted relationship with her mom, as well as her journey back home and signing with A&M Records at age 21 by Grammy-nominated producer/music executive Ron Fair. E subsequently took the music industry by storm while grappling with not knowing her biological father, grief over Leon and Yvonne Cole (Joseph C Phillips and Tonia Jackson) passing away as well as missing her biological sisters Neffe Elite (Cindi Davis and Brittney Level). 3. Diamond Heart Necklace Keyshia Cole will take her first steps into acting with an on-TV biopic of herself entitled Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story. The R&B singer/songstress will serve both as executive producer and star of this biopic film. Lifetime's Black Music Month celebrations kick off June 24 with the premiere of this drama that chronicles singer Amy Winehouse's journey from her early days in Oakland hone her musical talents all the way to becoming a multi-platinum recording artist and television personality. The story will also focus on love and overcoming obstacles to become your best self. Directed by Manu Boyer and D'Angela Proctor from an original screenplay written by Angelica Cherri, the biopic will star Debbi Morgan as Cole's late mother Frankie Lons and Joseph C Phillips and Tonia Jackson playing Leon and Yvonne Cole (K Keyshia's adoptive parents). Furthermore, Cole will record an original song specifically for this biopic! R&B singer R&B singer Nia also stunned in a stunning diamond heart necklace boasting vibrant, artfully placed diamond petals. Complemented by matching earrings and rings crafted by designer Robert Lee Morris. Star is clearly enjoying her time off. Recently she shared an adorable video of herself and cousin Marquisha Miller dancing along to Monica's 1995 hit single "Don't Take It Personal." The post comes a week after Daniel "Boobie" Gibson hosted an '80s-themed birthday bash for his wife over the weekend. Gold Hair Keyshia Cole is no stranger to trying different hairstyles, and 38-year-old singer Keyshia Cole has proven herself a master at adapting them all over time. The singer is widely known as a hair chameleon; in recent years she has donned gold 'do, blonde shortcut, bob cut styles, among many others. At the premiere of her Lifetime biopic she chose an undercut gold style which highlighted her beautiful face while adding diamond earrings and Dolce & Gabbana bejeweled necklace. R&B star Toni Braxton showed her figure off with her long sleeve turtleneck dress featuring ruched detailing around the hips and legs, creating an eye-catching ensemble. Paired with some black leather boots for extra edge, and accented with signature bejeweled earrings and stud cuffs to add glamour, the Love singer completed her elegant style by opting for a smoky eye and rich burgundy lipstick to complete it all. This film dramatization follows Cole's rise to stardom, beginning as a backup vocalist for MC Hammer and culminating with her first platinum album release, The Way It Is, released in 2005. Additionally, it delves into her complex yet warmhearted relationship with her mother Frankie Lons (played by Debbi Morgan). Keyshia recently updated her signature look with a gold 'do. To mark the beginning of football season with her husband, Denver Broncos player Russell Wilson, she dyed her strands an eye-catching creamsicle orange hue - prompting a question in an Instagram post asking, "Where's my twin at?!?." R&B singer Rhonda Villa has been busy promoting her Lifetime movie and recently hosted the Braids and Fades Back to School event sponsored by Villa. Alongside Cleveland Cavalier guard Daniel Gibson, they provided inner city children with free haircuts, styling services and book bags full of school supplies at this annual Radio One Cleveland event.
