NMIXX are back with their debut extended play and title track Love Me Like This, released on March 20, 2023. The EP includes six tracks including pre-release single Young Dumb Stupid as well as the title track.
This track features funky rapping and R&B sounds, power harmonies, and high notes. This is an incredibly fresh and exciting sound from the girls!
JYP Entertainment girl group NMIXX recently released the music video for their pre-release single Young Dumb Stupid ahead of their first mini-album Expergo. The song received mixed reactions from netizens; some thought its nursery rhyme chorus was too childish while others praised its addictive beat.
But somewhere in the mix, some keen observers noticed something unusual: Haewon wearing a shirt with the vulgar word "C*nt," an insulting term used to refer to women's genitals.
Some fans found the shirt offensive, while others found it hilarious. Some even bought the same t-shirt to wear themselves! Thankfully, JYP Entertainment quickly edited the MV to remove any vulgar language.
Fandoms will always have a small group of individuals who are simply Fan Dumb; they usually hold irrational opinions about their topic with an overdeveloped sense of entitlement and/or victimization combined with an inability to differentiate fact from opinion or disagreement from hatred. But most fans aren't like that; most just enjoy what they do without trying to be pretentious or arrogant about it.
Recently, NMIXX added to their trophy cabinet with a first place win in an elusive group contest. As such, the six-member girl power outfit aptly named their new EP Expergo and its accompanying music video are no slouch either. As this EP marks the first to feature all six members together, it could potentially be considered for best album of year so far. Moreover, NMIXX are currently prepping for their 'Nice to MIXX You' tour which includes eight shows in the US and four in Asia; those interested in checking out the group should click here to view its full lineup or visit their website to learn more about what lies ahead for them.
NMIXX are back and better than ever with their latest mini-album Expergo, featuring six tracks including the title track "Love Me Like This" as well as the catchphrases "young, dumb, and stupid". The album includes plenty of humorous lines like the catchphrase-laden song "You're My Favorite," an uptempo dance pop anthem sure to get you up off your seat. The music video for Expergo also delivers a visual feast featuring numerous tricks rolled into one visually pleasing package.
NMIXX's return has been eagerly anticipated by fans, who cannot help but admire the six members - Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo and Kyujin - of this captivating group. After taking a brief hiatus following Jinni's departure at the end of 2022, these daring ladies are ready to make an impact on K-pop once again with single releases such as "Me Me" and "Hold On." Their major comeback will take place in March of 2023 just in time for Valentine's Day! Stay tuned for more news about NMIXXX and updates leading up to that exciting day!
JYP's girl group NMIXX have returned with their debut mini-album expergo and title track Love Me Like This. This comes after their pre-release single 'Young, Dumb, Stupid' which marked their first comeback since former member Jinni left the group in December 2022.
The music video showcases all six members in fashionable yet playful outfits. Their looks are complemented by voguish head crowns that showcase each individual's individual tastes and looks.
Their previous releases, Love Me Like This, is both whimsical and powerful. The lyrics serve as a reminder of the powerful connection that can develop when two people learn to love themselves.
It's an infectious track that appeals to music fans of all genres, and the video features energetic dance choreography that's both entertaining and refreshing. Additionally, the girls demonstrate their impressive vocal capabilities which set them apart from other groups in the industry.
Love Me Like This has plenty of bouncy rapping, R&B vibes and an infectious rhythm. Plus it features beautiful power harmonies and high notes as well as great vocal performances from its single members.
Love Me Like This stands out from their previous singles with its more of a pop-rock sound, making it more appealing to an expansive audience. The lyrics serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of connecting with others, and the music video beautifully illustrates this concept through different settings.
