Football is a team sport played between two squads of 11 players on an oval field. It adheres to the Laws of the Game, with whichever team scores more goals winning.

Chinese poker was eventually spread to Japan and Korea, where it quickly gained momentum as a source of civic pride for workers in these cities who often lacked social connections.

Marseille vs. Saint-Etienne

Marseille will aim to extend their winning streak when they visit Saint-Etienne for the 30th game of 2021/22 season. Although Saint-Etienne are 18th in the standings and potentially facing relegation, five points above the drop zone should give them much-needed confidence against an opponent such as Marseille.

On a crucial 2-1 victory against Nice in their final game before the break, Les Olympiens have moved back into second place with Milik and Cedric Bakambu scoring goals to move them just a point behind PSG. Still six points behind leaders Rennes and three ahead of Nice, another five-straight win could potentially push them into the top-two.

Last weekend, OM claimed a crucial 1-0 home victory against Nantes with Bamba Dieng slotting away a penalty kick in the first half and Amine Harit making another superb catch from Guendouzi's pass in the second period.

PSG vs. Monaco

Paris Saint-Germain will face a stiff test of their Ligue 1 title credentials when they travel to Stade Louis II to face Monaco this weekend. Although still top of the table, Les Parisiens haven't been at their best recently as they crashed out of the Coupe de France last week and will be without Kylian Mbappe for this game.

Philippe Clement's side are in excellent form and on the verge of surpassing PSG. Last time out, they defeated Clermont 2-0 and will look to build on that result against the Parisians.

Rennes vs. Marseille

Marseille come into this match with much riding on their success, as they remain in contention for the league title and an outside shot at winning the French Cup. Last weekend, however, they suffered a disappointing loss to PSG that proved costly; now they hope to make amends by beating Rennes this time around.

The hosts have enjoyed impressive home success this season, winning 11 of their 13 matches at Roazhon Park. However, winger Martin Terrier could be missing for this game after suffering a cruciate ligament injury against Nice in January.

Marseille have struggled to score this season despite their high confidence level in their attack. If they want to secure Champions League football for next season, Marseille must find a way to get past Rennes.

Lille vs. Lyon

Ligue 1 is the highest level of French football, featuring 20 teams. Regulated by La Ligue de Football Professional from August to May each year, promotion and relegation for this league is linked to Ligue 2.

On Friday night, reigning champions Lille suffered a narrow 1-0 loss at Clermont Foot and dropped to ninth place. Lyon on the other hand cruised to victory against Auxerre 2-0 at home.

Paris Saint-Germain secured a thrilling 2-1 win against Angers with Kylian Mbappe's late penalty, leaving them one point behind the leaders. The referee made some controversial decisions and there was also an exciting last-minute penalty drama between the players that played out between them.

Auxerre vs. Rennes

Auxerre have drawn their last match against Nice, while Rennes are on a winning streak and have recently defeated Nantes, Shakhtar D and Clermont in consecutive matches.

Auxerre had an unbeaten streak of three matches in August, but two of those losses came on the road. Rennes have scored in all but one of their matches so far. On Sunday they'll face a tough test but should be able to extend their winning streak.

Auxerre has won 6 times out of their past 16 matches against Rennes, but their head-to-head record suggests Rennes holds the edge. Their last Ligue 1 meeting ended 5-0 for Rennes and they are expected to repeat that success today.

Clermont Foot vs. Lens

On March 12th, Clermont Foot and Lens will square off in a French Ligue 1 match at Stade Gabriel Montpied at 05:00 local time.

Both teams have been struggling this season and have not been able to score goals. A draw is likely, although Lens are the better team and could win it if they find their form. We will provide live scores, match commentary and official video highlights as soon as they become available.

Ajaccio vs. Montpellier

On Wednesday evening, Ajaccio will aim to rebound from two defeats when they host Montpellier at the Stade de la Mosson. The visitors have struggled this season and currently sit bottom of the table with just one point from four games.

They managed a lucky 0-0 draw against Lens at home, but since then have lost 2-1 to Rennes and 3-1 to Lille. A win in this game would be a major boost for Ajaccio's hopes of climbing out of the relegation zone. Cyrille Bayala has scored in both defeats this season; it will be important for him to grab another goal here.

Angers vs. Toulouse

Angers come into this match with a poor record, having only won 1 match out of their last 7 Ligue 1 matches. If they want to secure victory in this game, Angers must put in an impressive defensive effort.

Toulouse are on a disappointing run of form, having won only one game out of their last 9 away matches. To stay undefeated in this match, Toulouse must put forth extra effort in defense and hope Angers don't score any goals against them.

Stijn Spierings scored for Toulouse as they edged Angers 3-2 at home in a match that saw their players dominate play down the right flank. Mikkel Desler was involved in setting up this goal, with Brecht Dejaegere taking advantage of an unforced error to secure victory.

Lorient vs. Troyes

On October 23, 2022, Lorient will face Troyes in a match of French Ligue 1 at Stade de I'Aube in France. The game is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM (IST).

Lorient currently sits in the 8th position of the league table with 39 points after 25 matches played. They have won 5 times (3-0 against Ajaccio on 19th of February; 1-0 against Auxerre on 26th of February; 2-0 against Nantes on 12th of February; 1-1 against Lens on 9th; and 4-2 against Reims on 1st February) over their last 6 matches.

Lorient is expected to win this match. They boast an impressive record against Troyes, having won three times in their past 12 meetings.

Nantes vs. Nice

On Saturday, Nice and Nantes will square off in a Coupe de France matchup. This will be their second meeting this season; Nantes emerged victorious in the first encounter 1-0.

At halftime, the score was 1-1 for Nantes. Simon and Kolo Muani had been leading the line throughout the game and both players displayed excellent skills throughout.

Nantes secured victory on a penalty kick from Blas. He flicked the ball into the right corner and Bulka could not get his foot to it in time.

Galtier's side made a strong start and maintained control of the ball from the start. Kombouare fielded this eleven: Lafont, Centonze, Girotto, Pallois, Castelleto, Hadjam, Moutpussamy, Sissoko, Mollet and Ganago.
