EPIC SCENES! Jon Jones Became the NEW UFC Heavyweight Champion at UFC 285!

Jon Jones has officially emerged as the NEW UFC Heavyweight Champion after defeating Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Now, he looks forward to facing two-time heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic in what promises to be an exciting rematch.

Epics tend to be costly and lavishly produced, necessitating elaborate settings, panoramic shots, on-location shooting, authentic period costumes and action sequences of epic proportion. Biopic (biographical) films tend to be less costly versions of this genre.

Jon Jones vs. Ciryl Gane

On March 4, one of the year's biggest pay-per-view events will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. It features Jon Jones' return to the octagon as the main event.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is making a return to the Octagon to challenge Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight title at UFC 285. It's been some time since Jones last competed inside the Octagon, so many fans are eagerly awaiting his return at a heavier weight class.

Jones is an MMA icon with a longstanding reputation as a formidable fighter. He possesses an incredibly well-rounded skill set that includes powerful striking, grappling and submission techniques.

On the mat, his 84-inch reach allows him to pursue submissions and unleash devastating ground strikes. Furthermore, his technical kickboxing skillset allows him to dissect opponents from various angles.

He is a highly versatile fighter with an impressive record in the octagon. Although he may need to go the distance in this fight against Gane, he should still be able to hold his own.

At UFC 285, Jones will become the new undisputed heavyweight champion and cement himself as one of mixed martial arts' all-time greats. Since making a comeback, Jones has demonstrated that he's ready to take on any opponent at the highest level.

Jones must be ready to perform and win this fight. In order to secure victory, Jones must keep his opponent on the backfoot.

If he can do that, Ciryl Gane faces a more formidable opponent than anticipated. Gane lost his first title shot against Francis Ngannou in January last year but since then has won two consecutive matches.

Though not as durable as some other strikers, Jones should be able to hold his ground against him for several rounds. At some point in the second or later round, Jones has a chance to lock in a guillotine choke and end the fight.

Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic

At UFC 285, Jon Jones emerged as the new UFC Heavyweight Champion after dominating Ciryl Gane and sending shockwaves through the heavyweight division. In the main event, Jones took down Gane before submitting him with a guillotine choke in just over two minutes - setting an unprecedented standard for future bouts in this division.

Jon Jones never faltered throughout their fight, showing off all the skills and experience that have made him one of the greatest fighters in history. It was an awe-inspiring performance in the UFC Heavyweight Championship match that left no doubts as to his status as one of boxing's all-time greats.

Jon Jones didn't stop there. At his post-fight press conference, he also addressed Stipe Miocic - his next opponent.

Following his stunning first-round submission win against Ciryl Gane, Jon Jones is calling out Stipe Miocic for his first UFC Heavyweight Championship defense. Despite reports that the fight may not go ahead, UFC President Dana White remains confident it will happen soon.

Before his first title defense against Miocic, Jones is more prepared than ever before. He vows not to be intimidated by the former champion and hopes to put on a show that will make everyone around him stand up and take notice.

Miocic is eager to regain his belt and continue the rivalry with Daniel Cormier that began in 2018. Although he's lost the title four times in a row, Miocic has managed to defeat Cormier twice in a row.

If a fight between the two takes place, it could likely take place at UFC 290 in July when International Fight Week takes place - making the date convenient for both parties.

Dream fight between two of UFC's greatest fighters would surely ignite interest and be an enormous draw for fans around the world. However, if it doesn't go through, other renowned heavyweight contenders could fill in for them in the heavyweight division.

Jon Jones vs. Alexa Grasso

After three years away, Jon Jones returned to the UFC and made an immediate impact. His first-round guillotine submission victory over Ciryl Gane marked his first victory over a former heavyweight champion in 11 fights - an accomplishment which had never been accomplished previously in Jones' 11 fight career.

With his victory, Jones became the eighth multi-division champion in UFC history and third person to hold both light heavyweight and heavyweight titles simultaneously.

Jones, 35, increased his record to 27-1-1 with an unbeaten streak of 19 fights - the longest among active UFC fighters.

In the co-main event, Alexa Grasso dethroned longtime UFC women's flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko with a fourth-round submission victory. The Mexican standout applied a rear-naked choke at 4:34 into the round to snap Shevchenko's nine-fight winning streak and end her eight title defenses.

Shevchenko, who was leading 3-0 on the scorecards, missed a spinning back fist that allowed Grasso to take her down and lock up a rear-naked choke. Ultimately, Shevchenko tapped out and earned an additional $50k bonus for her performance.

Shevchenko remains a top contender at 125 pounds and has the opportunity to regain her title and establish herself as an up-and-coming star.

Grasso's submission victory over Shevchenko was one of the biggest surprises in recent history, as she had a nine-fight winning streak and eight-fight championship reign before succumbing to defeat since dropping down to flyweight division in February 2018.

Shevchenko, the defending UFC flyweight champion, suffered her first stoppage loss of her career. Ranking #1 in the world, Shevchenko lost her belt due to an error and now demands a rematch with Grasso for revenge.

Jon Jones vs. Valentina Shevchenko

Jones returns to action at UFC 285 and makes history by becoming the NEW UFC Heavyweight Champion! With an impressive submission win over Ciryl Gane, Jones becomes only the eighth two-division champion in UFC history.

After three years away from the octagon, Jon Jones made his long-awaited return against Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 285 on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This was Jones' first fight since defeating Dominick Reyes in February 2020; he entered as a +520 underdog before submitting Gane in just over two minutes.

The match was an iconic battle between two titans of mixed martial arts history. Despite his history of drug testing violations and run-ins with the law, Jones is still considered one of the greatest fighters of all time by both fans and critics alike.

When asked about his legacy, Jones refused to address the numerous legal matters that have bedeviled him in recent months, instead choosing to speak in generalities and issue a tense "next question."

He made it clear that he will not be responding to the recent negative media attention he's faced due to his failure to appear in court after an arrest for assault on a woman and her children. Aside from the 2021 incident in Las Vegas, Jones has also been arrested multiple times over the course of several years for DWI and negligent driving offenses.

After an extended break, Jones is back and ready to make a major impact in the world of mixed martial arts once more. He's been a fan favorite for 15 years, and his return to the Octagon was widely anticipated.

His next major obstacle lies ahead in Ciryl Gane, who has lost two of his last three fights. Stripped of the UFC heavyweight title in January 2021 after failing to unify with Francis Ngannou, Gane will be seeking revenge on Jones for his 2018 loss to him.

As the co-main event, women's flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko defends her crown against Alexa Grasso. Shevchenko has won eight of her last nine fights while Grasso has lost four out of her past five contests. If either woman wants to make an impact in mixed martial arts, more than simply winning this match will be required.
