SUGA, the rapper from global K-pop superstars BTS, has finally unveiled his first ever solo single. As part of his debut album D-Day, which will be released later this month, SUGA also collaborates with another South Korean pop star on this track.

Suge will release his album ahead of his first-ever solo world tour, which begins April 26.

1. "People Pt. 2"

Suga, one of the most successful members of K-pop band BTS, recently announced his debut solo album would be released later this year under his Agust D alias. To accompany the LP release, Suga has also confirmed a tour for support.

On Tuesday evening (April 4), Big Hit Music--the label managing BTS--shared a pre-release teaser poster for Suga's single "People Pt. 2," featuring IU.

Though Suga may be relatively unknown to American music listeners, he's an experienced producer and composer. He's collaborated with numerous artists such as Epik High, Suran, and Psy. As part of BTS, his songs have frequently made the Billboard 200 list with seven reaching the top 10.

In 2020, Suga released his mixtape D-2, featuring the mega-hit title song "Daechwita." This hit single rocketed up the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number one on Top Rap Albums chart.

After his debut album, Suga went on to produce and write tracks for several other artists, such as IU, Juice WRLD, and Halsey.

Suga's next major solo album, D-Day, is set for release on April 21. He took creative control of every step of production for this record and brought his "sincere personal story" to life through music.

To celebrate the release of his upcoming album, Suga has also announced a solo world tour, entitled?Suga | Agust D-Day Tour?, that begins April 26th in Belmont Park, New York before heading out to Rosemont, Illinois; Los Angeles; and Oakland, California.

Along with his tour announcement, Suga also unveiled a solo documentary he'll star in called Road to D-Day. This film chronicles Suga's global journey as he searches for inspiration around the world.

2. "D-DAY"

Suga, one of BTS's key members, is set to release his first solo album this month. Entitled "D-Day," it will be available on April 21. Additionally, Suga plans on unveiling a pre-release track on Friday as well.

D-Day was a pivotal event during World War II, yet many people lack knowledge about it. A survey by YouGov has revealed that half of Britons don't even understand what D-Day is or why it was so significant.

D-Day marked the start of the Allies' campaign to liberate Europe from Nazi rule. It was one of history's largest military operations, involving over one million troops and an array of ships transporting them to France. Furthermore, it marked a seaborne invasion along an 80 kilometre stretch known as Normandy on France's north shoreline.

Though large in number, there was some uncertainty as to how successful the invasion would be. The American army launched the first wave of paratroopers on Utah Beach; however, they lost thousands due to malfunctioning equipment or enemy fire, while seaborne forces landed more than a mile from their intended landing spots due to strong currents.

By nightfall, the Allies had linked their beachheads and had put a total of 156,000 men on shore. Additionally, they conducted acts of sabotage against transport and communication networks to weaken the German army's ability to resist invasion.

Ultimately, the Allies prevailed in the war - but not without its share of difficulties. It was an expensive and complex operation with numerous disagreements regarding how best to conduct it. Ultimately, US General Dwight Eisenhower took command and led from behind with his expertise in planning and commanding. His approach proved more assertive than what the British had originally envisioned for their campaign.

3. "Boyfriend"

Suga has finally unveiled the title for his debut solo single, "D-DAY?". After months of hard work on his debut solo album, Suga has shared some exciting details about what fans can look forward to from it.

As a member of BTS, Suga has achieved numerous chart placements on the Billboard 200 chart. He's been with the group for more than three years and has produced and written lyrics for many of their songs.

Suga's latest work stands apart from other BTS tracks in that it takes a more laid-back approach to music. After previously working with writer-producers such as Slow Rabbit, June, Pdogg and Supreme Boi, Suga now utilizes his own artistic abilities on his first solo album.

In addition to his new album release, Suga also announced a tour that will take him around the globe. The 'SUGA | Agust D D-DAY TOUR' begins in April with shows in multiple countries around the world such as the United States, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and South Korea.

Suga will release his third studio album under the alias Agust D, following up on D-2, his 2020 mixtape. This year has been an incredible journey for SUGA who also made his solo debut with "People Pt. 2," his first single.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of Suga's collaboration with IU, who will also appear on the track. The two have previously collaborated on some songs, including 2020's chart-topper "Eight," and are currently gearing up to record their next project together.

4. "Beautiful Life"

Suga will release his debut solo album, D-Day, on April 21. Additionally, the rapper is featured in a new Disney+ documentary and will embark on his first ever solo tour later this month.

The K-pop superstar has also revealed the title of his debut single from D-Day: "People Pt. 2."

According to a press release, Suga revealed that "People Pt. 2" will be the lead single from his debut album, due out on April 21. Additionally, he'll be taking part in an exciting documentary and touring around the world following its release.

According to a press release, the documentary will follow the singer as he searches around the world for inspiration. He'll then perform at small fan events along the way.

He will then embark on his first-ever world tour, beginning April 26 and making stops in the US, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea and Japan. Finally he'll conclude his trip by attending the 2019 MAMAs in Hawaii.

Suga will be releasing his first solo release, though he has previously contributed his vocals to songs by Suran and Jimin. Furthermore, Suga wrote and produced tracks for BTS as well.

On April 21, Suga's debut solo LP, D-Day, will be released and featured in an all-new documentary called Road to D-Day. This will follow Suga as he travels the world seeking inspiration and to show his fans what it's like to be an artist.

D-Day marked the largest seaborne invasion in history and launched the Allied campaign to liberate Europe from Nazi rule. While it was a success in that the Allies gained ground on Normandy's beaches, they still faced an uphill battle to drive the Germans back.

5. "Shut Up"

Suga is set to release his first solo album this month, entitled D-DAY. He joins Jimin, J-Hope and RM as the fourth member of BTS to embark on a solo venture.

Additionally, Suga has announced a world tour which begins April 26 in Belmont Park, New York. After this US leg, he will head off to Asia where he will perform in Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore and Seoul.

After his successful debut as Agust D (Daechwita), Suga has maintained his status as an accomplished rapper-producer. Utilizing this identity, he released two mixtapes in 2020 - Agust D and D-2 - both of which reached No. 1 on Billboard 200 charts.

BigHit Music recently announced the release of Suga's debut solo album, D-DAY, marking the completion of his mixtape trilogy. Featuring songs written and produced by Suga, this project will be released on April 21, 2023.

As part of his promotion for D-DAY, Suga will also embark on a world tour which begins in the United States on April 26. He'll perform in cities such as Belmont Park, Rosemont, Los Angeles and Oakland during this leg.

According to a press release, Suga will be engaging with his fans before the tour through small fan events. Additionally, there will be an accompanying documentary which follows Suga as he embarks on an epic journey around the world.

After his successful debut, Suga is now ready to finish his journey with D-DAY. His upcoming album will be released on April 21st along with a pre-release track called People Pt. 2, featuring IU.
