Wes Anderson's new movie ASTEROID CITY has just unveiled the first trailer. Star-studded in every direction, this project will hit theaters in 2023.

This film is a "poetic meditation on the meaning of life" set in a fictional desert town during 1955. Students from around the world will compete for academic prizes while enjoying moments of rest and recreation, comedy, drama and romance.

Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks is an award-winning film star, producer and director renowned for his roles in Forrest Gump and Philadelphia.

Hanks has been in the industry since 1979, when he made his screen debut in a low-budget slasher movie. Subsequently, he relocated to Los Angeles and found roles in numerous different films.

The Academy Award-winning actor has achieved great success at the box office with his roles in Forrest Gump (for which he won an Oscar for Best Actor) and Philadelphia.

Hanks also owns Playtone Productions, a production company that has worked on projects such as The Da Vinci Code and Charlie Wilson's War. Throughout his career, he has earned many accolades including a Golden Globe for Cast Away and another for Saving Private Ryan.

Scarlett Johansson

Jeffrey Wright

Jeffrey Wright is an acclaimed American film actor best known for his Tony, Golden Globe and Emmy award-winning role as Belize in Angels in America on Broadway and its HBO miniseries adaptation.

He is a graduate of Amherst College, having majored in political science there. After graduation, he decided to pursue a career in acting.

He has since starred in numerous films and television shows, such as Presumed Innocent (1990), Casino Royale (2006), The Invasion (2007) and Quantum of Solace (2008). Additionally he portrayed Martin Luther King in the biographical drama TV movie Boycott (2001) and blues musician Muddy Waters in Cadillac Records (2008).
